Whenever something unexpected came up (and in real estate, something always does), she handled it immediately and strategically. She fought for us during negotiations, kept everything on track during escrow, and explained every step in plain English. We never felt lost or unsure about what was happening. Beyond the professionalism, she genuinely cares. You can tell she wants her clients to win, not just close. If you're buying or selling in LA, call Cricket. Period.

He liked the personal care and knowledge a local realtor offered, specializing in our specific architecture and neighborhood, I agreed we needed someone approachable, but was concerned about a solo realtor with so many responsibilities per transaction being efficient, b/c selling a house in SoCal is so contractually perilous. From the start, we received excellent service from Stephanie and her team. She was personally available 97% of the time, and if not got back to me fairly quickly. (When hiring a good realtor, you need to understand that if you want personal service, they still have other clients. However, if they're on the phone giving them good service, when they call you back, you'll receive the same treatment!) The team was flexible and all very respectful of our preferences regarding communications, privacy and showings. I was impressed with her individual specialists overseeing each aspect of the transaction, including following the buyer's loan progress and double-checking their realtor's responsibilities too. They dotted all their i's and crossed their T's; I never felt I had to remind them of anything- they did as they said they would, and if I had a question someone responded immediately. Our escrow closed today, and the sale went so smoothly we're pinching ourselves! Many thanks to Chung Mi, Melissa, Adrian and the other team members. I think of Stephanie as a friend and will miss talking with her!

And she has an aura of calm: even when glitches have come up or we've changed our minds about something, she has taken it in stride. Elizabeth also has an awesome team (shout-out to Nicole and Mariela!) and a great network of service providers, several of whom we're still working with years after she recommended them to us. After interviewing a number of potential agents...it was clear that Elizabeth was the most competent. Her encyclopedic knowledge of the selling process was a great asset as our property was a probate sale which required coordination among the attorneys, escrow, and the probate referee. Additionally, she had a team who resolved the myriad demands of preparing the property for sale, e.g., installing approved smoke alarms, meeting plumbing standards, and arranging the removal of all the excess items left on the property. It is of no surprise that I give Elizabeth Marquart my highest recommendation to be your listing real estate agent.
