There were about seven people waiting in line, all separate parties, and only one employee working the front counter. After waiting approximately 15 minutes, I asked whether any additional help was available. The employee went to the back to ask for assistance. Reese came to the front, but instead of helping serve customers, apologizing for the wait, or even putting a scoop of ice cream in a cup, he explained that he couldn't help because he was making ice cream in the back. What I found frustrating is that he had enough time to walk up front and have a conversation, but apparently not enough time to help reduce the line. On a slow Tuesday, maybe that's one thing. On a hot Friday afternoon with customers waiting and school out, it seems like exactly the wrong time to prioritize making more ice cream over serving the people who are already there trying to buy it. Waiting can be understandable. Being made to feel like your time doesn't matter is not. I ended up leaving without ordering.
