More than one-half of their team are local college players who are trying to improve their skills in the competitive Rocky Mountain Baseball League against squads from the Denver-Fort Collins-Boulder region. It is an enjoyable experience, quality amateur baseball played in an intimate settling, inexpensive (seats range from $6 and less), and proximity that you cannot get anywhere else. Plus, they offer tasty ballpark food, with grilled hot dogs and burgers plus ballpark snacks like popcorn. I never leave hungry! They are very community oriented, and have various promotions in their schedule. And they sell a cool team hat also! It's a good place for some family fun, or, if you're a baseball connoisseur, it totally works! Parking is available in a lot just south of the complex, there's more available nearby, and offer exclusively bleacher seating. I appreciate the kind customer service and genuine care for their customers by GM Matt Jensen and his staff. The bulk are volunteers, and they seem to enjoy being around the ballpark. The Collegians originated in 1964, and their four National Titles include big league stars like Joe Carter, Jim DeShaies, Tony Gwynn, and Chicago Cubs' manager Joe Maddon.

Pro tip - if you go to the Silver Bullet Bar, in the 300 section, you can find $3 beers until first pitch. You can get two beers at a time, so keep that in mind as well. The stadium is very clean and well kept as are the bathrooms. The upper deck has plenty of picnic tables and a variety of seating where you can still watch the game on TVs. Coors Field is a staple of Denver, so let's hope those Rockies get back on their feet!

I have been to a few MLB parks. Coors Field is fairly nice and has lots of food and drink options. I was a bit bummed with the NA selection, especially since Coors sells two different NA beers of their own. You could only really find NA options at one or two vendors in the whole park. Regular drinks could be found just about anywhere. I didn't try any of the food aside from the frozen cheesecake on a stick, which is as good as you'd think it was. The restrooms here are kind of a bummer. They are outdated, and the women's lines were out of control. The sound quality for a concert was good, and luckily we had great seats, though some of the seats were literally behind the stage, and you certainly could not see anything from them. I am glad we didn't buy those seats! The iconic purple row of seats is a fun easter egg of the stadium, and I thought the overall aesthetic was good. I can't comment on parking as we walked over from a friend's place who lives nearby, but it's super walkable from Union Station and downtown, even from RiNo if you're up for a bit longer of a walk. Overall, a nice ballpark. I would return for a baseball game, with the hope that it was not as insanely crowded as this Noah Kahan show.

This smaller park is a neighborhood gem. It has 9-hole golf course, fitness center, walking path…read moreand an outdoor pool. It is not the kind of park with hibachi grills or picnic shelters which translates to more privacy, less noise and a refreshing degree of charm. The pool is small yet never seems over crowded. Lots of trees and foliage throughout the park offer nice cover for private walks with your special one (or special two, three..?). Many people run with their dogs throughout the park but I have never stepped in anything. Bravo dog owners!

It's got an outdoor pool, it's got a…read more9-hole par-3 golf course that in the summer time they light up with glow sticks so that you can golf at night. Plus, it's got a rec center and it's where all of the Denver police hang out. And I think they do some SWAT or combat training there. So sometimes you get to see these cool cocaine and dynamite-sniffing German Shepards. It's not all that crowded. It's 1.2 miles if you follow the path around the perimeter of the park.

Pioneer Park is a fairly new park located in Commerce City, CO. I'm starting to think that Commerce City might one day successfully turn a 180. The park features the following: Baseball fields Bating cages A Fountain Basketball Courts Shaded tables A skate park and my personal favorite... a bmx dirt jump park Objectively, I must say that the dirt jumps are not really much to write home about. I have ridden at better places in the Denver area, but they are fairly close to downtown. Although I don't skate or ride much park, the skate park looks really sweet. I think it rival's Denver's park. I think what makes this Park so cool is that, excluding yuppies, it has a little bit of everything.

We have been enjoying visiting Sandstone Ranch Community Park with our dogs. There are plenty of…read moretrails to walk around. We also walk in the grass if fields are empty and play fetch on long lines. There is plenty to do here for non-dog people and the area stays active. We've seen bikers, running groups, bootcamp exercise groups, ultimate frisbee, a walking event, small kiddo playgrounds, and skaters at the skate park. There are soccer fields and baseball fields. There are multiple areas to park and several covered picnic tables spread out. I did see a couple of port-a-potties as well. Maintenance is always out early morning cleaning up but please remember to throw all your trash in available cans. I've seen a mess a time or two. The only downside is we have seen some people setting up camp in trees so we I suggest to be careful in some areas.
