**1 STAR -- I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX** **ROACHES. ROACHES. ROACHES.** If you are thinking about moving here, PLEASE think twice and do your research before signing a lease. This complex has had an ongoing **roach problem for over a year**, and management has done an unacceptable job addressing it. Residents have complained about the infestation, yet proper pest control was not sent to all affected apartments for months. Even more concerning, **new tenants were moved into the property while management was already aware that there was an ongoing roach issue.** That is extremely disappointing. People are paying rent expecting a clean and livable home -- not an apartment where they have to worry about roaches. And unfortunately, the roaches are just **one of MANY problems.** **THE WALLS ARE PAPER THIN.** You can hear practically everything from neighboring apartments. Conversations, arguments, music, footsteps -- there is very little peace or privacy. **MAINTENANCE TAKES FOREVER.** Getting things repaired can feel like pulling teeth. Residents shouldn't have to repeatedly follow up just to get basic maintenance issues addressed. **PACKAGE THEFT IS ANOTHER PROBLEM.** Packages have been stolen, which is incredibly frustrating when you're already paying to live somewhere that should feel secure. **MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND DISMISSIVE.** The property manager comes across as extremely rude, standoffish, and unwilling to genuinely listen to residents' concerns. Instead of feeling like your concerns matter, you often feel like you're being treated as an inconvenience. **SERIOUS CONCERNS ABOUT DISCRIMINATORY TREATMENT.** I have personally experienced behavior from the maintenance man that I believe was racist and discriminatory. No resident should have to feel uncomfortable or disrespected because of who they are. **IT FEELS LIKE THE PRIORITY IS COLLECTING RENT, NOT TAKING CARE OF TENANTS.** The biggest issue is that these problems aren't isolated incidents. The roach situation has reportedly been going on for **more than a year**, and residents have been left dealing with the consequences. If you are considering renting here, **PLEASE visit before signing anything. Talk to current residents. Ask specifically about roaches and pest control. Ask how quickly maintenance responds. Pay attention to how much noise you can hear through the walls. Ask about package security.** Don't just look at the apartment when it's clean and staged. Ask yourself what living here is actually going to be like after you sign that lease. **I would NOT recommend this complex based on my experience. Rent is too expensive to live somewhere where you don't feel comfortable, respected, or properly taken care of.** **DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU MOVE IN.** read more

Love how they are so animal friendly! My reason for renting this apartment over a year ago had to do with the pet policy. I love how they have the bags and trash can in so many places. I really like how fast they solve any issue that comes up, even things I thought were my responsibility has been worked out by management as soon as I do the maintenance ticket. The most I've waited is from one day to the next because I call too late. Administration is great at helping with any question and they go out of their way to do so, if necessary. I rarely go to the office and still all of them (Sara, Marta, Matt, etc) remember me and are really friendly. They do activities for the community every month or so, and even tho I only gone to one or two, is a great way to get to know the neighbors. So far I have a good relationship with all my neighbors in the building and the ones around me. read more

I moved in here November last year and liked when I first seen it...It was refurbished and like new. We have really enjoyed the connection the management makes with the renters. For example, they held a contest when I first moved in for Christmas where we got to pick a present that had an amount off of rent for December. They have monthly meets such as wine/cheese tasting for adults, pool parties in summertime, and playground with grills for cooking out. I loved the Easter egg hunt best of all! My two girls won and got a prized stuffed unicorn...they had a blast! the community manager is always open to speaking with you on any concerns you may have. Valley view is a great apartment complex in a great area/location! Literally minutes from anything you need - shopping, restaurants, transportation and a great school district! This complex is a great place to call home! The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to any needs or problems that arise. Maintenance staff is exceptional! Always there on call 24/7! The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day (Even the pool)! I have loved my time here And will always highly recommend this complex to others! I really find the assistant manager Sarah to be very helpful. She is extremely friendly and has answered all of my questions. My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment in May and everyone in the community is very friendly and helpful. If you have any maintenance issues the maintenance staff is very fast to react and resolve any issues you have quickly. It is nice because it has a community pool, business center, and fitness center which are included in your rent. There are also laundry machines in each building that are easily accessible. I've had a really positive experience living here. The property is clean and well kept, and the management team has been friendly and responsive whenever I've needed help. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, which I really appreciate. We moved into Valley View in January 2019. The whole process was made easy by the staff. I love that each month the staff does activities to get the residents out and to meet each other. Snow removal is the best. It snowed on a Sat, and I was called into work at 6:30 AM. I looked out, and snow had already been cleared from over night. read more

I highly recommend Valley View Apartments! It's a quiet community with so many great amenities! Such as an on-site gym, tanning booth, pool, picnic area with a playground. The staff is really efficient and nice! It's also kid friendly and the neighbors are really nice! read more

Valley View is very prompt if you have any issues with your apartment. Whether your calling during office hours or after hours maintenance is notified right away and the situation is taking care of promptly. read more
