We are a small animal veterinary practice providing a high quality service to pet owners and their animals. We perform routine vaccinations, advise on preventative medications like worming and flea treatment and neutering. Ill animals are seen in consultations and we can perform blood tests, other laboratory tests, x-rays and ultrasound to diagnose what is wrong. We have facilities for performing routine and more complicated surgery as well as equipment for dental procedures. Our specially trained staff are available to provide help, reassurance and support.
History
Established in 2014.
Valley Vetcare was established in 2014 by Hammad Sarwar and Vincent Wager. Hammad currently owns Shuttleworth Veterinary Practice in Rawtenstall, a business that has been established for over thirty years and Valley Vetcare aims to provide the same friendly and caring service to pets in Rochdale. They purchased the property which was originally the Globe public house and converted it to a veterinary surgery. The aim has always been to provide a high quality service to the clients and their pets.
Meet the Business Owner: Vincent W.
Vincent qualified from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2001. He worked in mixed practice, part of the time as clinical director, for 7 years before deciding to concentrate on small animal practice. Following a 2 year post as sole charge of a hospital, he moved to Shuttleworth Veterinary Group where he still works. Interests include ultrasonography, orthopaedics and dermatology. In 2014 he purchased the former Globe public house in Rochdale and established Valley Vetcare with Hammad Sarwar owner of Shuttleworth Veterinary Group. He is married to Rachel and they have a cat Bella,
A Doberman Lex and a tortoise called Terence.
