I've taken my vehicles here for inspection a number of times. They have never ever once tried to upsell or say your car needs something that it doesn't In fact the opposite- I took my 96 F 150 there - complaining of it driving a bit rough...they drove it and said- ehh- it's an old truck- it's fine...and it doesn't need anything to pass inspection- you are good to go - less than 50 bucks. Communicative. Fair. And they few times they did work- I've never had complaints. read more

I've been taking my 22 ft RV to Valley Tire Pros in Erie, PA for 4 years. They were recommended to me by another tire company who couldn't service a 22 ft vehicle. They have taken care of tire maintenance, oil change, transmission fluid change and annual inspections. This year I also came back for an alignment upon Terry's recommendation .. glad I did. Steering is much improved now. Everyone I've encountered is knowledgeable and professional. I'm pleased to give them my highest recommendation. read more

Not impressed! The grease monkeys who put my tire on had attitude problems. Earring boy needs to learn better customer service. Never going back read more

I live in Lake City and I've been coming to this place for 10 years, but I'm not sure I will continue. The Woman that answered the phone today was a bitch. Very short with me, it sounded like she was too busy to talk to me. Have a nice day read more

I wish I could give a minus star on review. We took the truck to change new tires and it took a day to change them. However, when we got our truck back, the steer tires weren't straight and the truck was shaking like crazy so we took it back to the shop. What they said was they took out the weights to balance, which were in the old tires, and they thought the tires didn't need it, which is apparently NOT. Also, the new tires they put had flat spot from the factory so they had to change another brand tires and took a week to CHANGE NEW TIRES AND BALANCE THEM. Our truck wasn't like that before we took it to this shop at all and even after we got our truck back, it's still shaking. We lost a week to make money to pay our own bills and stuff but we still have to pay them for their work (even they couldn't fix it at all). I'd NEVER recommend this shop for your tires. read more

It's funny, I've owned several businesses in Erie PA for the past 10 years, and not once have I seen something so pathetic within those 10 years as this establishment. I believe that I've been in business so long because I'm extremely honest and fair with my customers, a trait we simply don't all possess. I took my car in for a new tire, and when I went to pick it up, my other tire was completely flat. I was told that it was worn out as well and couldn't hold air and I would need an additional 200$ for a new one, then I was told that I needed another 1400$ worth of work done to that side of my tire as well, but when I took it to a different garage, they informed me that none of the problems I was told existed. I then asked if someone might be able to try and put air into my tire, which they did reluctantly, and look at that, as luck would have it, it held air with no problem, and still holds air to this day. What a joke! Do NOT waste your time or your money at this place. I understand that times are arduous with the pandemic going on, but this is just down right slimy, pathetic, and shady. Very very poor business ethics. I feel bad for this establishment and the people they truly manipulate and take advantage of. read more

They are amazing, Mike really helped us out when we were stranded on the side of the road. Our road side assistance could not help us but a recommendation from a state trooper gave us Valley tires information. The man they sent out to assist us was amazing and the pricing was way better than I expected. Thank you for your help! read more

I went in to have an oil change and they seemed alright, at first. when I decided against doing my struts on my own I went here for a quote, which they gave me at 650, which is quite high according to the repair pal website, but I was willing to do it. of course when I go to pick my car up they charge me 800 something! apparently he thought we agreed on some extra parts, but of course I have no idea what he's talking about, and of course the extra 150 didn't make it into the quote. unethical, shady call it what you want I ended up paying seven bills. They seem to have enough business they wont miss mine, it's too bad I can't find a shop that I can trust for future work. read more

I took my car in for a PA inspection. My car was inspected in NY less than a year ago, passed under an hour just fine. I drop my car off and 2.5 hours later I get a call with 5 things wrong with it that weren't wrong 3 months ago. I haven't been commuting lately so I would assume there is less wear and tear on the vehicle. Almost 3 hours and they didn't even make it to the emissions portion??? And they said my estimate might include broken bolts if it so happens when it is in the garage. SHADY. Anyone have any recommendations? read more

Got new tires there, they took great care of me. Wonderful customer service. Thanks, Valley Tire!

I have been to Valley Tire several times. Never felt they were ripping me off or giving me a deal, so indifferent. But my last experience was the deciding factor. I went in for an oil change and left with a wobbling tire, the check engine light was on and my truck was running rough. I took it back to them and Ben told me "There is no way those things happened during the oil change" Is it all a big coincidence? My truck was running just fine before the oil change and was not running so good after I left, kind of hard to believe. So, I was sent on my way with a truck that mysteriously fell apart in the span of an hour and a half oil change. I like to believe in the best of people, but they always seem to prove themselves wrong. Thanks Guys at Valley Tire! read more

Nothing positive to say about this place. Forced to go here because my car is under a so-called 'warranty.' I called and scheduled an appointment. It was in 3 days. Dropped my car off the night before (like I always do no matter where I take it so that it can be worked on first thing the following morning.) Left a note in my car reiterating what needed looked at and also that I would be picking the car up between 4:30-5. They close at 5. Thus, this gave them plenty of time to LOOK AT MY CAR. I work in a hospital and work very long hours and I also work at least 56 hours a week. It is extremely difficult and a huge pain to not have a vehicle. Anyways, I arrive to pick up my car at 4:45 the next day and THEY HADNT EVEN LOOKED AT IT YET!!! I could tell as soon as I pulled in that my car hadn't even moved from where I left it the previous night. Told them my name, it took them about 10 minutes to locate my keys and then the guys at the counter proceeded to walk around the whole business asking his employees if any of them had looked at my car yet. At this point I was very annoyed. The professionalism was non-existent. So finally, after asking at least 3 other people if they had looked at my car and after he finally found my keys, he then told me that no one had looked at it. Why not? I asked him. Isnt this why I made an appointment? His response- Ma'am. Im short staffed and very busy. Again, is this not why I made an appointment?? Sooo I left with my car and it hadn't even been looked at. Awesome. Had to bring it back a week later due to my work schedule. They claimed to have fixed the problem which was my wheel shaking. Within 48 hours it was doing THE SAME EXACT SHAKING AS BEFORE. Sooo unfortunately I had to bring it back to this place. I was told, my new vehicle that I had just purchased and at this point only had for 3 weeks, was NOT going to be covered under the warranty and Id have to pay. OK well why wasn't this issue fixed the first time?? Probably because no one ever looked at my car the first 2 times I took it there. Soooo I had to pay $80 in labor for an issue that should have been fixed 2 different times already?? 2 days before Christmas. This shop is an absolute joke and are extremely unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE FOR A WHOLE BUSINESS DAY WITHOUT ACTUALLY LOOKING AT IT. read more

Valley Tire in Erie, Pa is a rip off. They seem very unexperienced and will no longer get my business. I went to get studded snow tires on my car and made sure they knew to stud them. I even asked when I picked it up if they were studded and was told they were. I get home only to find that they are NOT studded and Valley was then closed for the day. So I tell them what happened and they're apologetic and set up an appointment to stud them the next week. I show up for my appointment and now they tell me there's nothing they can do, even though it was their mistake. This is NOT the first time Valley has ripped me off and proven to be complete idiots. But this is definitely the last. read more
