The Valley Center Roadrunner is an awesome local paper. Not only are they on top of local events and new stories, their staff really cares about the local community. I was looking for a local newspaper delivery for my 90 year old dad in Murrieta. I hope I found it.

I'm new to the whole small business world and recently had to a file a Fictitious Business Name in a publication for 4 weeks. I didn't know where to begin. Valley Roadrunner was on the County List and popped up on Yelp as well. I called and reached out to several publications, but Valley Roadrunner was the first and quickest to reply with an estimate of $30. Many other publications are much more expensive ($50-$75) and they won't file it with county or send you a copy. Thank you VALLEY ROADRUNNER for doing BOTH!! Annnd for being so fast, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced! It means A LOT when I'm already putting so many other things on the line to get a small business started in the first place! Update: This business is and has been harassing me since the first review was posted- The first day someone from their office called me every 15 min for 4 hours- I did not answer. I was then sent a letter from their owner who threatened to post personal information- as a response to the previous review- as was stated "If I did not immediately remove the review". On this webpage they made they have chosen to post certain emails and information- so those that visit will only get half the story. As of yesterday (1/30/18), I answered a Restricted number which turned out to be their VP-- he proceeded to yell at me (this is the second time now) so loud I was forced to hang up on him. I have had no contact with this business since late last year. I have had to seek other agencies to help me with how I have been treated and now with the consistent harassment. read more

This is a great local paper that is really connects with our community. They have a web site too for getting the scoop on what is happening right now. Prior to a couple years ago the paper was owned by an out of town investor and had really gone downhill. For a couple of years we have had a new publisher come in and the quality of reporting and writing is better than ever, the staff is tops and we love our town's paper again. My wife looks forward to Jamie's recipe too every week. read more

This is our hometown paper, and I love it! Though it's only published weekly, you can go to their online version and get immediate coverage of events, often as they are occurring. The editor welcomes opinion pieces and, as far as I can tell, publishes all letters even when the writer's ideology may differ markedly from the editor's. I.e., the paper welcomes traditional and alternative viewpoints. The actual paper is good quality (meaning no ink all over your hands when you've finished reading it), and the photos are in color and seem to be high definition. There is so much happening in our town in terms of growth and construction, and the Roadrunner provides coverage on all of it.
