I hired Adkins Construction to do some minor home repairs. They did a great job on putting in 2…read moredead bolts on my doors. I asked about gutter covers and was told the kind they use would not allow pine needles to penetrate. This week I had to hire someone to repair my gutter due to it pulling away from the house due to the weight of the pine needles that had accumulated in the gutters. I will need to replace the gutters Adkins put on 18 months ago due to the ineffectiveness of them and the lack of honesty about their function. I also at the same time told them of a large water leak in the basement due to what I believed was an underground pipe from the gutter. I called about the urgency of the need for the repair and was told they would return in a few days before a large expected storm. At 69 years of age I had to dig a 6 foot by 3 foot deep hole to repair it myself before my basement flooded from the coming rains. I will not trust this business ever again.

They finished the first week of June & were paid nearly $14,000.00. I called Mr. Moore on Dec. 29th because my shower drain was frozen & wouldn't drain because it's not properly insulated. I haven't gotten a reply yet. I called Mr. Moore again today (1/12/18) because my sliding doors are leaking. I'm still waiting for a reply. If you want a "take the money & run" contractor this is the man to call, but if you want someone to stand behind their work call elsewhere. I wish I had.

Every time an issue would arise, they would threaten to stop production and case a " lean" on the owners store. Their work was left very untidy and horrendous. Even the judge agreed that the paint job was done horribly, when he took us to court for no reason. Would definitely not recommend him and his team
