You guys were all awesome. Always checking on my mom and very friendly. Also I want to thank the asian male person(sorry can't remember his name) who tried so hard to find my mom's vein for IV. Even the Anesthesiologist Dr. Yamanishi who made sure my mom was ok before and after the surgery. From the initial consults and treatments, up to my mom's knee replacement surgery, Dr. Porter supported us every step of the way. Thank you so very much. You are all awesome!

I can't imagine any surgeon providing better care than what I got. Dr.. My rehab is right on schedule and I have been really pleased with his entire team. Dr. Porter is very easy to talk to, extremely attentive, and amazingly kind. Most of all though, I feel that I must have been placed with the top rated orthopedic surgeon. I trust his skill and his team's expertise at the highest level.

I have 4 issues with this office. My first issue began in February, keep in mind it's August. I had…read moremy annual exam done the first week in Feb. My insurance pays 100% of the annual exam, pretty typical. So I was surprised to see a bill come in the mail for $30 which is the same as my co-pay, but this couldn't be a co-pay because woodland health has always had me pay my co-pay before my appt. at check in and for what?? With my busy schedule I forgot about it and some time had passed and I got another bill for $30. When I got a second bill I knew that it was a mistake. I called and asked why I was being charged. The girl on the phone said it was a copay. I explained that I shouldn't be charge because it was for my annual. She opened what they call an "audit". I was confident this issue would end here. NOPE. In June I received another bill. So, again, I call. Now this other girl informs me that an "audit" was never submitted for me. Mistake #2. This other girl opens an audit for me and I have no choice to wait again. Now August rolls around and so does another bill. BUT this time I noticed on the bottom they're going to take me to collections if I don't pay it. I hadn't noticed this on the other bills but it doesn't mean that it wasn't there. So, again, I call. However, before I called Woodland Health, I called my insurance company. The girl who was helping me stated that the Davis office had coded my appt wrong. And that day showed labs being sent in; Which is consistent with an annual exam I may add. So I call Woodland Health, again. This other girl tells me their "audit" department is behind and hasn't gotten to it. I point out to her what my bill says about going to collections. She says that they're not because there are notes. I asked for that in writing and she said she wasn't able to. Of course. I explain to her that what she is asking of me is to believe what she is saying when another girl had already told me one thing and that wasn't true. She asked me to hold so she could ask her supervisor. At this time I was at an E.N.T appt, definitely not with Woodland Health Care, so I wasn't able to hold any longer. After a day of thinking I decided to pay the $30 and take Woodland Health to small claims court. I've never been taken to collection and there's no way I would because of someone else' mistake. So I call Woodland Health, AGAIN. I explain to a woman that I need to request labs from the day of my appt. so I can prove in court what type of appt. it was. She told me that I would need to contact a different department and that it may cost something. I asked why. She stated it was because my records were not mine, but property of Woodland Health so I have to ASK for them (please note this lady was really nice). I explained to her that I could just add it to my small claim. Before she transferred me she wanted to check the status. I told her that was fine, and I would wait. Not expecting anything since the day before I was just on the phone with them. She came back on the line and said that "she" referring to someone else, just got it and it was taken care of. She explain they'll need to refund my insurance and that there's a process. Welp, that covers the first 2, but now I'm tired so I'll have to write the last two later. UPDATE: Received ANOTHER bill on October 25th. Contacted Woodland Health and they say it's still being fix. LOL.
