Who ever does the Echocardiogram there is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I took my dad to get it done and I always go to translate for him. He questioned me about what he had got done in the past. I told him, then he said HOW DO YOU KNOW? I told him I know all his medical history. When we were done, he then proceeded to tell my dad to get up and then he looks over at me and says "tell him to get up, he's looking at me like a deer in headlights" Why would anyone talk to their patients like that? Will never be going back. Rather drive all the way to Turlock than get this treatment from people like that. read more

They were late, but once my dad was seen it was a quick appointment. One of the ultrasound techs, Jason, tended to my dad today. Jason was negative and rude the entire time. For someone working in the medical field, he should learn to apply grace, compassion and kindness, especially while tending to older patients. Do better Jason. read more

Do you want to see an offensively rude cardiologist that will tell you to your face that you're "dumb" nd even imply that you are "dumb" and with your health insurance paying for this? This doctor will fulfill these dreams for you. Your patient-to-doctor experience will be involuntarily remembered forever. If you want to see a cardiologist who is an expert on triggering shame, anger, hurt and insult within minutes during the appointment, then Dr. Vyas is who you want to go see during your most uncertain health moments in your lifetime. Yelp works! To my surprise, Dr. Ramilo has responded and continued to follow up regarding the issues at his office! This is really the best outcome. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews in general but must from time to time in hope that doing so will perhaps improve a business. Dr. Ramilo called me personally and thanked me for bringing these issues to his attention (I had also written a letter to him). He spoke with me for quite a while, updating me on my mother's care as well as discussing future care options. This is really outstanding. There was a third-party service responsible for processing incoming calls. This service has been contacted by the doctor's office in order to improve the communication between clients and their office. read more

Dr. Ramilo is great but we liked it better when he was in the Turlock office. Seemed more organized and much friendlier. Every year when my husband was scheduled for his stress test, we were given a copy of his order with date, time, and instructions for prep. Now nothing. I had to call to find out when he's scheduled and not met with a helpful, friendly voice. Still don't know how long he should fast. Left a voice message at Doctors hospital for help and no response so far. Frustrating. read more

This place is trash no one will ever answer their phones let alone crack a smile at you. Went there for follow up with the heart Dr. and said his meds would be ready for pick up at certain pharmacy and when we went to pick it up they said it wasn't there and isn't ready that it was sent to another pharmacy across town. Why would they send to a totally different pharmacy than the one down the street from where we live?? Make it make sense so we had no choice but to drive across town to find out it wasn't sent there either that we'd have to contact Dr.'s office to get it refilled?? Now why would the office tell us it's ready for pick up same day and now give us the runaround. Long story short now we have to wait until next week to pick up any prescriptions mind you this is for his HEART MEDICATION!! Who ever runs the front office needs to re train their staff this is unacceptable and we shouldn't have to run around just to get simple refills of heart medication. I'd give this place a zero if I could I'm so frustrated. My boyfriend stressing out causes him more stress than necessary. If you ever call them they will not answer if they do be ready to be placed on hold for at least 30 mins to hour. read more

My doctor sent a urgent referral to this office. I've been trying to get through to speak to someone at the front desk for over 4 days now. Whoever answers the phone just puts you on hold and then never comes back. Absolutely unprofessional. I told my doctor to refer me somewhere else. I went here about 2 months ago...i was referred by my babys pediatrician, i had to take my daughter in she was 4 months at the time...apparently she has a heart murmur and they just wanted to check it and make sure it was nothing bad. I took her in, i arrived like 10 minutes early and when i signed in they called me within 2 minutes....after that they took me to the back the doctors and staff were super nice. The girl that did the ultrasound on my babys heart was very nice and friendly and made me feel very comfortable...she was very nice to my daughter. after all the exams were over the doctor came in and explained everythign to me, and answered all my questions. Thank god it was nothing bad, and she was referred for another chek up in one year, so yeah i do recommend this place, they were nice and friendly. read more

I have been a patient at Valley Heart since 1978. First heart attack at age 35. Of course I have seen several different doctors over that time frame. My current Valley Heart physician is Dr. Dat Doo. I don't recall the exact time I was first treated by Dr. Doo but it has been at least ten years. Each time I have visited Dr. Doo I have been impressed with his ability to seemingly recall my medical history as well as details of conversations we have had in the past. He has that rare ability to listen and make you feel that your case is important and that he genuinely cares. Three years ago I experience a medical emergency that was life threatening. I was fortunate the Dr. Doo by coincidence was in the hospital that day. He immediately took over my care. Dr. Doo acted decisively and promptly. I sincerely believe that Dr. Doo was able to save my life and preserve my quality of life afterward. Dr. Doo's abilities and training are unquestionably top tier. His caring nature and ability to empathize with his patients is without question unparalleled. I have trusted Dr. Doo with my life on more that one occasion. I would recommend Dr. Doo to anyone seeking cardiology care. read more

I had a doctor by the name of Dr. Doh perform an angiogram on me a couple of months ago. The anathesia did not kick in. I was in severe pain and screaming. The attending nurse was clearly nervous and kept rubbing my head. She said something to him (I didn't hear) but proceeded with the procedure in spite of my pain. I received my insurance bill for $70,000.00. I would not pay him $700.00. He walked by the room I was in did not come in and said "How you doing?" Realley?! I shot him a dirty look and he kept going. My Doctor referred me to Valley Heart for a Treadmill Stress test last week. I have heard good things about Valley Heart in the past so I was surprised when my experience was so bad. I wasn't seen by any Doctors just had some test done, Everyone I encountered was polite, professional, and courteous except for one Nuclear Med Tech was unsympathetic to my pain level and got snappy at me. I would go back again but request a different Nuclear Med tech if I happen to get her again. read more

My husband had contacted Valley Heart for a second opinion. He met with the doctor who recommended some tests to be done and once done, there would be a follow up. We'll the staff set up the appointment for the test and follow up but arranged the test to be done after the follow up appointment. My husband tried twice to get the appointment switched with no luck. They would reschedule the follow up but not for more than a month out. He tried a 3rd time and explained what had happened but they apparently did not document his calls and told my husband it was not noted and it was basically his fault the appointments were set they way they were! Excuse me! It's the staff's fault since they set the appointments and now don't want to correct the situation! I am Not impressed with their customer service and total lack of proffesionalism. Needless to say, my husband cancelled his appointments and we will look for another provider. read more

I have been a patient at Valley Heart for over ten years and who knows why why I have suffered through their rudeness and general inefficiency for all this time. It takes then forever to answer a call. I've been on hold for 30 or longer in a few occasions. Mostly I hang up in frustration. At the moment I need a cardiologist clearance for an impending operation. I asked for it on Mar. 26. It is now Mar. 31, I still don't have an answer and I'm told by a very rude office clerk that it takes 24 hours a return phone call. Believe me, if I were in a position to change doctors right now I would. If you are thinking about using this facility I suggest you look elsewhere. I have gone to UCSF and they are excellent, but traveling to the city during a pandemic is not practical. Twenty years ago I had a stroke. Valley Heart scheduled an angiogram while I was in the hospital for early in the day. I could not have anything to eat or drink and they took me off all medications. Problem was they didn't do the procedure until late that afternoon by which time I had a second stroke which left me without the use of my right hand. I should have sued them then and there, but I am not, by nature, a litigious person. Run, don't walk out of their office and don't look back. read more

My husband had an MI in 2011, when we first got to DMC a female cardiologist was on call, she needed to take him to the cath lab. She came out and said she couldn't put stents he'd need bypass. My husband didn't want that and asked to see another cardiologist, Dr Dat Do was on call, he took him back to the Cath lab and got stents in all the clogged arteries. He's been seeing him ever since and we couldn't be happier. This past June my husband was feeling pretty rough, his arteries were clogged again and this time stents wouldn't work so he had bypass. Even though he doesn't do that surgery Dr Do came to the hospital every day to check on him. You don't get that a lot anymore in a Dr. but we really lucked out on this one. read more

My husband had triple bypass surgery on July 9 that was done by Dr. Noel Concepcion and everything turned out fabulous. Dr. Concepcion and his nurse, Karen, have been absolutely great about everything. We have my husband's first follow-up appointment next Wednesday and I can't wait to meet Karen in person. Be care of this place, I just received a separate bill after paying my office visit CO pay. for another $40.00 for a EKG during the office visit that the hospital owns and leases to the office. Excellent visit today. Arrived early at 9:47 for a 10:00 appt. Front desk was pleasant and efficient and was done with check in by 9:57. Tech that roomed me was sweet, professional and understanding. She was finished with me at 10:06. Dr Do as always was professional, caring and assuring. Check out friendly with a sense of humor. Great experience! I don't usually watch the time, but I had back to school meeting today. Very well run practice, excellent staff and doctors. I've had to come here a few times this month and last, yea i'm young i know but sh*t happens, and they have been real great with helping me feel comfortable with doing tests and understanding whats going on. Its not easy dealing with health issues that may happen, but if you have specialists who actually give a damn and help you through it you can deal with them alittle easier. read more
