I could have swore I submitted a review already, but seeing as I don't see it here, let me begin…read more Dr. Padhma was great. I'd been putting off seeing a podiatrist for a while, but increasing pain in my left toe joint led me to Valley Medical Center Podiatry. Greeted by an individual standing (in the cold) outside the main entrance who took our temperatures and asked the required questions. Got in to see Dr. Padhma in no time and she quickly and professionally went about her examination. Results: Osteoarthritis, not gout. She stated that if I did have gout, she wouldn't have been able to examine me without a great deal of pain. She prescribed orthotics and arranged for me to visit Priority Footwear for a fitting for inserts and shoes. Upon being led into the exam room we were guided by Reggie. As it turns out he's from Hawaii just as we are. Conversation quickly turned to food. We told him we lived in Federal Way, Korean restaurant heaven, and he suggested several places, many to which we'd already been to. Next visit we'll have to remember to bring a loaf of Hawaiian Sweetbread, Reggie's favorite.

Nurse is super friendly. You do have to call through Valley Medical to get an appointment which can be a hassle, but you aren't waiting weeks to get an appointment either which is nice. Check in is downstairs in the primary care office and then you go upstairs for the podiatry office. Parking is usually okay here but it can fill up. We like Dr Deng and his services have been excellent.

Dr. Nelson and his staff are amazing and compassionate. He's extensively experienced, knows what…read morehe's doing. Nurse Charlotte is someone I'd describe as, "Aggressively compassionate." Reminds me of my time in the Navy as a field medic. Same level as my fellow corpsmen. Attentive, respectful, listens to what's going on, as well as diagnosing and evaluating, because a lot of these conditions are, at least initially, by touch-and-feel. Then go for the further diagnoses, to narrow it down. The bottom line is, they aren't a "churn them out as fast as you can," clinic, like larger hospitals like Evergreen (which does have excellent staff as well, they can just get overwhelmed). They do have an on-site surgery ward. They may have to pull in anesthesiology from out-of-house, but they know some of the best, so they pull in the best. My condition was compounded, bilateral Morton's Neuroma, with Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome. It was a nightmare. They literally saved my life. The pain was to the point of suicidal. The benefit I had, was knowing medical terminology, anatomy, and being able discuss everything on, maybe not quite equal terms, but near-to. Dr. Nelson and his staff are a dream-team. When I say they don't, "churn them out as fast as they can," it doesn't mean they waste effort. They're just very experience. Do what needs to be done, without making you wait. Large hospitals, like I said, Evergreen, which is great, can have you on a waiting list for a month, where as Issaquah Foot and Ankle will have you in the next week, or as soon as available. If I were to compare them to anything, it'd be a frontier clinic, where the best go to treat people the best they can, treat their patients on a personal level, without having to deal with an overwhelming client base. As for surgical scheduling. As I mentioned, they bring in anesthesiologists from other clinics, as far away as southern California, so they have to schedule around their schedules. Other hospitals, it can take months. Another reviewer mentioned how they were referred to diagnosis specialists. There's one I went to in Tacoma. Electrical Skeletal-Muscular Diagnosis, wherein, it's like having a car electronics diagnostic given, which shows where there's impedance, or anomalies in the nerves. Nailed it. In any case, they're a little out-of-the-way, not too far, but if you want a team that knows what they're doing, go with them, before having to wait a month just to get an exam. This is, a bit long, as reviews go, I guess, but they're worth it. As to the complications of surgery involving general sedation, of *course* they'll require you to have someone to pick you up. You're pretty out-of-it for awhile after. Driving in those conditions would be dangerous to both yourself, and others, not to mention risking all the work done on the feet afterwards. I suppose there's medical transportation as an option. In my case, I had a friend who drove me from the clinic to home, and I needed some help.

Horrendous experience with their billing and charges. Found the practice to be very deceptive and…read moremisleading. Ask for all potential charges before receiving any care here, even with in network insurance. $490 for a foot brace! I repeat - $494.75 for a small foot brace, I kid you not. I had some pain in my heel lasting for a couple weeks and thought "let's get it checked out". Saw Dr Tim Young for a 15 minute, middle of the road appointment - he recommended stretching more (yes, stretching!) and to wear a foot brace at night. Ok, fine suggestions although pretty basic and to be expected. A few weeks later my bill came and I kid you not this is what was billed by this company: New patient appt: $330 Time for the visit: $180 Ankle brace: $480! Random charge I can't yet determine: $180 If you're counting, that is $1170 for a honest to god 15 min appt, where again the main recommendation was to stretch my calf more. Shameful and appalling. If you choose to visit Issq Foot & Ankle, good luck to you. Your wallet will surely need it

Kudos to Dr. Nathan Tirabassi! From the very start he's been…read morehonest about my injury even with the very possible and likely bad news but that's my fault for destroying my foot. He's showed compassion and understanding at every step and his response timing is insane, he wants to help people with and through their injuries and the treatment I've gotten from him has made that very clear to me, 10/10 I will recommend for ankle and foot care! Also it's always a good sign when your doctors work gets bragged about not only by me but also by him to his coworkers epic dude for sure!

""Wrote this on their seattle location which is where i went but i figured i leave a review here…read moresince they are the same company "" Went in for 2 appointments for plantar Fasciitis. Dr. Tirabassi was very nice and respecttul. He gave me paper work containing exercises to help me and basically explained what plantar was and so on, but that was it. On the 2nd visit it was same thing & more info on plantar fasciitis, i got a boot that i was told if my insurance didn't cover it, it would be $60-$70 Turns out because i have medical insurance i have to pay $147 more for that boot but was never told this. I asked for help but they just blew me off saying once the transaction goes through, nobody can change it and im stuck with that bill. According to the front desk i was supposed to have known or asked my insurance, it's not their responsibility to tell me. A little heads up wouldn't have hurt but then again they wouldn't have gotten more money out of me. So From (2)$495 a visit plus (2)$50 co pays. $60 something for insoles, $200 for the boot comes to about $1350 paid to them (give or take) I have gotten more info & better exercises off of TikTok videos than the actual visits. Personally it just seems like another money hungry clinic! Writing this because i know there is people out there living check to check and sometimes cant afford extra surprise expenses. So make sure to find out pricing because they wont help you. Actually they don't care to help you.

Dr. Alexis is absolutely amazing and is a wonderful podiatrist and naturopath!…read more I saw her for an issue with my feet. I appreciated her thorough analysis of my body from head to toe, and telling me how it effects my walking, etc. She was able to successfully diagnose my issue, and helped me come up with a plan to get better. She was also able to fit me for some custom orthotics. I appreciated that Dr. Alexis really took her time with me as a patient and did not make me feel rushed and was very thorough. She is very knowledgeable, attentive, and is overall a friendly physician with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Alexis for podiatry and overall care! She is a gem to Seattle! Thank you, Dr. Alexis, for everything!

I'm committed to happy feet!…read more Those were the first words I spoke to Dr. Alexis. I had been suffering for months with foot pain that was changing how I stood and walked. I went to Dr. Alexis for what I thought was a wort that wouldn't go away. Everything I did too self treat wouldn't make the wart go away. After four months of pain and discomfort (missing dance classes and workouts), I finally broke down and booked an appointment. The office was clean and followed Covid-19 protocols keeping herself and her clients safe. Dr. Alexis is very knowledgeable. She asked meaningful questions and listened attentively to my experience. She then gently examined the area and helped me understand the root cause of my condition! She was thoughtful with answering my questions and got consent for each layer of treatment she provided. I left her office in less pain, and equipped with tools to support my ongoing foot health. I have gone back one additional time, with some of my shoes and Dr. Alexis educated me and gave me tools to have foot comfort with each pair! I feel supported and empowered on my foot healing journey! Dr. Alexis is the ideal person to have on your foot wellness team!! Highly recommended!!! Book your appointment today!!
