Really cute spa, but probably the worst massage I've ever received. First, I could hear one of the employees loudly taking a call right outside the door. Heard the entire conversation. I kept asking the masseuse for heavier pressure but it just felt like she was rubbing my back. At the end, when she was massaging my neck, my masseuse fell asleep. absolutely blown away by this horrendous business in every aspect of the word. after waiting in a completely empty spa for 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment which i booked 2 months in advanced, i received a text from the owners saying the spa was temporarily closed with a detailed complaint about how all their employees quit and were lazy, irresponsible adults. i am completely shocked at the lack of customer service, business etiquette, late response, and complete tackiness of the owners and business itself. do not even consider going here for a service, i'm not the only one who has had an awful experience. pay your employees, don't treat them bad, and definitely do not complain to customers about them. wow. read more

I got a deal on a signature facial through Groupon. I arrived fifteen minutes early. At 10 AM, which was my appointment time, the receptionist finally gave me a form that I needed to fill out. I was wondering why didn't she give me, like ten minutes sooner, so it won't cut into my session time. I guessed they're not busy and they'd still give me 45 min. I saw that on the form if anyone was late, it'd cut into the session time. That's fair but I was there fifteen minutes early so I thought it shouldn't apply to me. The session finally started at 10:15 AM. I didn't like how the facialist handled my face and shoulders considering the age of my skin. First, she would start off suddenly with something cold. Ok, I probably needed a good wake-up but then she wiped my face and shoulders with a rag quite harshly. Not just once but a few times throughout the session. She spent quite a lot of time on my arms and feet, which wasn't unexpected, not that they were unpleasant. I came in expecting a facial so I would think she'd spend at least 75-80% of the time on my face. Guess what? It was over in 35 minutes and I realized that she was thinking it should be done by 10:45 without considering it's on their part to cut into my appt. time. I left feeling ripped off and I felt that the job was underdone. If it's what their signature facial is supposed to be, then it's quite subpar to what I had at various places and this is the worst one I've ever experienced. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly, but the mani/pedi was not worth the price. I'm used to getting some kind of a scrub and lotion rub with a pedicure whereas here I only got warm water. I'm also used to getting my nails trimmed on the sides but this all felt very surface level. (Something I could do at home). When we went to do my hands she didn't soak them in water instead she used a tool that hurt a lot to push back my cuticles. I was biting my lip so as to not speak out in pain. I won't be coming back for nail appointments anytime soon. read more

Oh boy, where to start. I bought my wife a Groupon package (Mani/pedi, facial and massage) that normally cost $245 for Mother's Day. What she got was a stressfull and awkward experience instead of a nice relaxing experience of being pampered. First of all, the owner's husband kept checking on the people working on my wife and making them feel inadequate and rushing them. What should've been a three hour visit turned into six hours because the owner does not know how to manage time and kept shuffling my wife's treatments around. There was one point where my wife had to file and prep her own fingernails for an hour and on top of that was still charged $20 for nails. The owner was complaining to my wife that her visit was taking longer than what her package was for and made her feel uncomfortable. It wasn't my wife's fault that her visit took so long, it was because they don't know how to manage appointments and kept shuffling things around. A few times he belittled his employees making them feel like they don't know how to do their job. I think the owner doesn't understand how to run a spa and just sees numbers. The nail equipment looks like cheap things you buy from the dollar store, and the overall experience could be compared to that cheapness. My wife's technicians were wonderful, unfortunately I don't think their ability to perform their best can be done at a place so disorganized and limiting. On top of that, she was only offered water which they gave to her in a small plastic cup. My wife was also lectured by the owner that she needed to make sure she tipped enough for the three people working on her. He did this right in front of the staff as well which made it very awkward for her. We understand how tipping works, and it is very cheap and uncomfortable to lecture your clients about how to tip and to make sure that you were tipping enough so it splits between three technicians. There were times when the owner would pull their employees aside while they were working on my wife to discuss business, which my wife overheard. The owner mentioned they don't want to spend too much time on these Groupon customers because they are not likely to return after one visit, which is definitely not true. If you invest time and care into these Groupon customers, they will likely return. My wife drove one hour to visit the spa and we will definitely not be returning because of the awkwardness and anxiety that was felt during the visit due to poorly managed schedules, time, and attitude towards its customers. read more

Weird, tacky and awkward. Not very professional for a spa and massage place. Their massages are not professional massages, and it's not a relaxing place for a massage either. There's lots of light and bright colors which is not what you want for a relaxing massage. It felt like a business office decided to be a spa so they tried to turn their office into a spa. The massages were the worst massages we have ever had. My wife and I could not relax the whole time. And my wife's therapist used her knuckles to massage her, and she used them on places where there's bones not muscles so now my wife is bruised and in pain from it. My wife did a maternity massage so she laid on her side and the pillow they gave her for her head was absolutely terrible so her neck is in pain now and kinked and they didn't even massage her neck or shoulders at the end. So now my wife is bruised and has a kinked neck which is not something that should happen with a massage. The customer experience is not a focus here. All they want is your money. And don't believe all these good reviews because they ask you to leave a review right there in front of them when you check out, so lots of people don't want to be mean and they leave a good review even if their experience sucked. If you want a good massage and a good experience, don't go here, even if you get a good deal. It's not worth it. read more

My husband and I went in for a couples massage and it was amazing. I got Milly and she did incredible. She made me feel so comfortable, her hands were warm and skin was soft. She applied the perfect amount of pressure and even let me know that one side of my neck was extra tight. Would defiantly go back to her again. read more

I recently had a very disappointing experience here. I had a male massage therapist and felt incredibly uncomfortable because he worked on my pecks without first having a dialog and asking for my consent. To add to my discomfort, when the massage was over, we were the only two people at the spa. This made me feel uneasy because if anything serious had happened, no one would have been there to come help me. I felt violated and couldn't stop thinking about it so I called the spa to provide feedback so others wouldn't feel the same discomfort as I did. I spoke to the owner, Mindy. She didn't even let me finish telling her what happened before she cut me off in defense saying she KNOWS her massage therapists and would never hire someone that would do anything inappropriate. The fact is, something inappropriate did happen, and I would really hope no one would knowingly hire someone that would harm or rape someone. Humans are unpredictable and are capable of horrific things, no matter how well you think you may know them. I will never come here again. Not only because of the inappropriate massage I got, but because the owner has no common sense of the times we live in. In 2019, you cannot discount things like this. I purchased a Swedish Massage on Groupon from Valley Creek Spa. I booked my appointment a few days in advance. I received a text message the evening before my appointment apologizing for a double booking and asking if I could come in earlier. Thankfully I was able to make it in at an earlier time. I met with Martha who did a phenomenal job. I have back pain that she was able to relieve. I felt very refreshed afterwards. She showed me an exercise to help me out with my back.
