I've called several businesses for PPF. I actually was about to choose a different place for PPF, and something told me to check Xpel website for certified installers. I emailed Dan late at night for a quote and he reached out to me the following morning via email and provided his number and requested mines as well. I texted Dan to get a detailed quote and ended up calling him after he provided me a quote via text. During our call, I knew I wanted Dan to install PPF on my brand new Lexus. He explained the process and provided a competitive price. I could tell by talking to him that installing PPF is a passion for him and not just a money grab. Furthermore, Dan has been installing PPF over 10 years, which is what I was looking for in terms of someone who has actually installed PPF on a customer car and years down the line, the customer returned to have the PPF removed. There are so many shops offering PPF that have started this business in the last 3-4 years. I don't want anyone installing PPF on my vehicle who has not been in business over 5 years. Dan is very accommodating with scheduling an appointment that works for you. I live about 30 miles from Valley Clear Bra. I needed to get a shallow dent removed prior to scheduling and he even worked with me on getting this taken care of. I ended up getting the premium PPF package and ceramic coating. Dan told me it would take about 5 days to complete, which didn't bother me because perfection takes time and he was also working on a Full PPF for another customer. When I picked up the car, you couldn't tell there was PPF on the front. Of course there will be seams in partial areas, such as A-Pillars, rear tire, but it looks good! . I don't want my car disassembled to cover a few seams. I am happy with Dan's work. Dan is such a sweet and kind person. We even talked about life in general and learned a few things about each other. Dan did the clear bra on our red model 3 in 2020 and it still looks like new. This year we took our new model y, I wanted a non glossy finish and was unsure if that was the best thing to do. When I got to Valley Clear Bra, Dan did an actual demonstration of the finish I wanted on the car, so I went with it. Also, he waited for me to arrive even after his close time because Tesla scheduled my pick up time late. He is very flexible. The car was done within 3 days! He also sealed the white seats, added the black emblem, and also installed mud flaps. When we picked it up, Dan had the car wrapped in a plastic bag so it stayed clean. Dan at Valley Clear Bra is truly a master at his craft. He did an excellent job on my wife's black 2023 Model Y both with Xpel Paint Protection Film (PPF) & Xpel Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating. His premium full front PPF package is by far the most extensive and best value around as I've contacted many PPF shops from Santa Clarita, the San Fernando Valley, Greater L.A., and Orange County. Where most places stop at the full hood, front bumper, headlights, fog lights, and maybe front fenders at a set price, with Dan's competitively priced premium PPF package he adds PPF to the door sills, door plates, door handles, rear rocker panels, rear lower bumper right above the plastic diffuser area, the rear bumper luggage strip area, and to top it all off, he even added PPF and Ceramic Coating to the interior screen/control center of my wife's Model Y. Dan is easy to work with, accommodating, upfront, honest, and most importantly, he made my wife and I feel at ease after dropping off our fresh-off-the-dealer lot car with 34 miles on it. His weekend hours were extremely convenient especially since our Tesla pickup time was set for a Sunday morning. Dan also allowed us to come back and finish the Ceramic Coating on our carbon fiber spoiler (and surrounding areas) after Tesla installed it. Time will tell how well the PPF and Ceramic Coating will hold up but given the 10-Year Xpel warranty, 4-Years on the Xpel Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating, I'm confident that both will hold up pretty well. As seamless as Dan's operation is run, please note that there may be some visible seams on certain unavoidable sections of the PPF as Dan is up-front and honest about expectations. The hood and front fenders turned out awesome and even better than from the factory after Dan did some minor buffing and paint correction. Any visible seams (on a Tesla Model Y) show up around the small top edges where the front bumper meets the corner of the headlights and on the bottom front bumper section. Dan has a detailed disclosure before any work is completed spelling out any of the aforementioned trouble areas and also mentions that he uses pre-cut PPF kits. Full custom, seamless, show-car PPF will most-likely be priced at show-car prices. As a bonus, nonetheless, Dan asked for and installed my after-market mud guards as they would aid in the fender tuck-in process. All in all, I'm very happy with Dan's work and will bring my future cars here for any of my PPF, Wrapping, or Ceramic Coating needs. Lastly, don't forget to add your PPF & Ceramic Coating work to your car insurance policy as an aftermarket item. Most PPF & Ceramic Coating work is above most deductibles and the price to add those items on a policy is $10's of dollars in my experience. A friend told me about clear bras and I always said that if I got a new car, I'd do it. Many years later, I finally got a new car and here I am getting it done. His prices are great and better than most places. He offers different packages depending on how much you want to get done on your car. I went with the most common package that people get. It protects the front, places he believes will get hit by debris and the high traffic areas of you car. It does take a few days, but he tells you upfront how long it'll take. He'll send some updates during the process and lets you know of any flaws on your vehicle when he comes across them. Found a small chip on my car and gave me a heads up. When I picked it up he showed me where it was, but he had filled it so it's not noticeable. If you have any questions or concerns he'll be happy to answer them. I'm more of a text/email person, but he asked to give him a ring. I'm actually glad I did. I learned a lot about the history of PPF, the installation process and what he covers. He doesn't try to upsell or hassle you. He includes things that you wouldn't even think of. Makes sure the car is washed thoroughly and checks for imperfections before starting. Definitely cares about what the customer needs and/or wants for your car. I highly recommend this place. If I had more than one car I would take it to him. Being as OCD as I am about perfection I waited three weeks to post this review to make sure that everything looked great. I have yet to find anything unacceptable! This time I had a complete front end PPF done as well as wheelwells and back bumper. He then Ceramic coated the whole car. There were a lot of areas that could've been misaligned, but he nailed it. Knowing Dan, even if there was a mistake, he would've rectified it. It's just a hassle having to bring it back. This is the third vehicle I brought to him to do and the cool thing is there's always extras that he does at no cost that were never discussed. This time he covered our Nav screen which my wife loves! My first vehicle done was over six years ago (still looking amazing) and since then many shops have popped up doing this type of work. I shopped this particular project out and Dan was more than just competitive. He is not located close for me but know his quality work it was/is absolutely worth the drive! I shopped around for PPF and ceramic coating and actually wanted to go to a place that did tint as well but after speaking with Dan I knew I wanted to get my PPF and coating done with him. I didn't feel like he was trying to get business, he said a set price and stuck to it while I honestly told him I'm still shopping around. Turns out his price is one of the lowest that I inquired for Xpel products, full front PPF and ceramic coating. I inquired through xpels certified installers from Los Angeles Area to Santa Clarita. There was one that was a tad bit cheaper but I really liked Dans customer service and genuineness, so I went with him. I actually called him a few times to ask questions about Xpel while shopping around. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He even hooked it up with PPF inside- around cup holders, door sills, door handles, and waiting on my monitor display screen as they have not made the cut out yet. His work is top notch. He kept the car for about six or seven days, but he insisted that before he hands over the car back to me, that it look perfect, and it did! He also stands behind his work! About three weeks later, I was having my car detailed, and the detailer noticed two areas where the film had blemishes.... they were white spots below the film, not damage to the paint, but some kind of damage to the film. I recently picked up a new SUV so I was looking into intalling clear bra on it. I did not really know anything about clear bra so I yelp and I found Valley Clear Bra. It has 5 Star review; however, it has less review compare to others. I was a bit hesitant about it so I decided to stop by to talk to Dan, the owner. Dan took his time to chat with me and showed me some cars that he was working on and explained the different between 3M and Xpel film. Dan offers Xpel film with 10 years warranty. Dan gave me a scratch test on Xpel film. I told him a have two small kids so he offered to install free door cup and trunk protection. Dan was so detail oriented. After talking to Dan, I left his place and felt comfortable. Next day, I called Dan to set up an appointment. The earliest appointment available was a few week out so I was worry about rock chip. I tried to be careful while I was on the road. One day, I found a rock chip on the side of the bumper so I got a touch up from a dealer. When I dropped off my SUV for the clear bra, I asked Dan if he would be able to help me with the touch up which he did. A few hours later, I got updated pictures of my SUV and Dan told me the color was not matching up; however, Dan told me he'd take the car to his friend bodyshop to get it done; however, he'd need to keep the car a few more days to work on it to ensure the color was fully dried. Yesterday, I went in to pick up my SUV and Dan showed me the work on my SUV (bumper, headlights, fenders, hood, door cups and trunk) and it looks amazing. May this review serve as a warning to potential customers of this business. Despite its perfect ratings on yelp, the owner Dan has a short temper fuse and clearly needs to brush up on his customer service skills! Do not ask him too many questions and you should be wary of your voice when talking to him because he will judge you right away and make rude remarks! Last Friday I took my car in to his shop to get a formal quote on a PPF wrap and ceramic coat on my car, it is my first time getting this kind of thing done on a car and so I had a lot of questions, he answered it and gave me a pretty decent quote (these things can get really pricey), I told him that his price is pretty good compared to others I have scouted and so we had a verbal deal to take it in 2.5 weeks. Just about a week after, I had a change of heart and just wanted to do the ceramic coat instead because I had some money issues and can only afford the coating instead and so I called him today just to give a heads up and get a new quote for just the Ceramic coat, I was just trying to clarify to him if the paint correction was already included and he suddenly goes off and concludes that I was trying to "get more from him" I was just merely asking for his best price since I will not be doing the rear bumper because that will be replaced by the dealer in a month , then again he states that last week "he had a learning curve from talking to me and based on the tone of my voice, he would appreciate me not going to him and taking my business elsewhere". Wow! I was flabberghasted how he came up to that conclusion based on my voice?!! I have never had somebody tell me that before! , I told him I am agreeing with the price but just wanted to clarify about the paint correction. I understand you have the right to refuse business to anybody but treating somebody in a rude manner and being judgemental is not acceptable. I will gladly take my business elsewhere where they will treat me with respect and without discrimination! I should have left a review a month ago, but I needed to find a quiet moment to give this review the attention it deserves. If your looking to get clear bra for your car, whether your looking for xpel,3m etc, this is THE place to go. Unlike other clear bra installers , the shop owner Dan, is owner and the installer. Keep in mind that installing the clear bra, especially in cars with alot of shape is more of an art than work. The film itself isnt too expensive, but its the labor getting it just right with zero visible seams or bubbles. With that being said, I brought him my new 2015 Z06 Corvette, which is a more difficult car to wrap. He did an astounding job, he installed the xpel wrap PERFECTLY (I chose xpel over 3m and happy I did, it really does work as advertised, throw in there 10 year warranty and I was sold), only a couple bubbles which went away within a couple weeks of the install. ( As he mentioned they would disappear), you cannot tell that the car is wrapped. It only took him a day and a half to do the wrap, and he handed me my keys with xpels 10 year warranty card. The warranty definitely instills confidence when I was on the fence as to wether it made sense to spend almost a paint jobs worth on film protection. But its been a couple month and Iam 100% pleased to say that - dans installs holds up perfect, no peel or rock chip damage - xpel really does self heal - if you have a black car, guess what NO MORE SWIRL MARKS!!!!!! xpel self heals so you can scrub away during wash and not worry about it - once cured the xpel really does become one with the paint , so Its safe to say after many spirited drives that the xpel does not peel or come off. On top of that, Dan's prices are very competitive, he is VERY reasonable in terms of pricing. He also is very personable , easy to talk to , and likes cars almost as much as myself so huge plus there. Dan Gil, owner of Valley Clear Bra: First impression was he was professional over the phone. Before the installation started, Dan walked me through what I was paying for, including diagrams of my 4- door genesis sedan, and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I was covering 3M venture shield to front bumper, headlights, 24in hood, fenders, mirrors, A-pillars (windshield pillar + partial roof). On top of that, Dan added 2 small 12in front door sill coverage and 1 trunk-bumper sill coverage (for golf club bag scuffs) which was cool of him to do so. All of the work is done by Dan himself. Left my car at around 9:30, phoned me at 2:00 to pick it up. Since his shop is near the Orange Line Busway at Nordhoff, he offered a ride over. 3M warranties the film to last for 5 years, so this sounded like a smart bet; i.e. 3M would pay Dan to replace the film if need be. Afterwards, he gave me tips of care and maintenance what to do to wash/wax and brands to use. After a 4-5 days of scorching valley heat, I decided to wash my car. Some limited amounts of grime did eventually work its way into the clear bra, but Dan took care of it today as I took my car back in for adjustments.
