We bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 seemed like a nice truck. Last year shortly after we…read morebought it I was taking it through the car wash in Spencer and under the dryers fan it started ticking and before I got it up to park one of the rods went through the oil pan. So while we were waiting for the warranty people to make up their minds my wife's son who had the same make model and year truck blew his transmission. We got the truck back a month or so later. While driving back from Indy I noticed a vibration. I stopped by the community shop and asked about tire balance and rotate. Only the front tires were done because I paid attention to my truck. Took it back it still had it. They did another balance and rotate 3 wheels were out of balance. Well I had to take it back in. One tire was messed up so bad that it was not good anymore. I got a new set of tires and still had the vibration. Tires were shorter than I liked and traded up to a taller tire also helps the CV axles still a vibration. One tire had to have 8ozs.to get it close tire guy mentioned checking for a bent rim. Between that and outta balance tires will wear down quickly. Instead of doing everything they could to figure out where the vibration coming from they blamed it on the tires. Putting a set of wheels on it and driving the truck to help eliminate or isolate the problem they sent me on my way. The motor they put back in it. They didn't guarantee for more than a year. I still have almost 2 years and haven't used much of 36,000 we got when we bought it. Not real happy with them.
