Ms. Sonja and her staff have been a godsend - our almost 3 year old boy can read and write all the letters of the alphabet, is constantly practicing writing his name, has good manners well beyond what I taught him, was potty trained in a flash, always talks about his teachers at home (even one who left 6+ months ago), and comes home expressing his joy about ALL the fun activities he gets to participate in with his friends at school. The program is a combination of play based activities with a strong focus on academics to prepare them for K-12. They also learn words and songs in Spanish and sign language. Each week they get to practice writing, coloring, cooking, science, experiments, sharing toys from home, and extracurricular activities like gymnastics, martial arts, music and much more! The facility is impeccably clean and organized, with toys and activities presented in rotation to keep them stimulated and engaged. My son is strong willed and easily one of the most stubborn individuals I've ever met, but the staff here handled him with grace and helped guide him to foster excellent social and listening skills. Ms. Sonja, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Abigail, Ms. Gen, and even Ms. Dara who is no longer there - THANK YOU for loving and caring for my child like he was your own. He is who he is today because of your hard work and dedication, and for that we are forever in your debt. From the moment we…read morewalked through the doors, we knew this was more than just a daycare--it's a deeply nurturing, thoughtful, and safe environment where children are truly seen, heard, and loved!!!! Ms. June and her incredible team of teachers are nothing short of amazing. They are caring, attentive, compassionate, and deeply committed to each child's well-being and development. You can feel the love and dedication in everything they do. They genuinely pour their hearts, energy, and expertise into every aspect of the program. One of the things that sets SmartStart apart is their commitment to providing home-cooked nutritious meals for the children. Every day, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are freshly prepared with care which is something that's rare and so appreciated in today's fast-paced world. What's even more impressive is their focus on their emotional intelligence starting as early as age 2. Ms. June and her team guide the children through understanding their feelings, learning empathy, and building the foundation for respectful, inclusive interactions. It's a beautiful way to raise emotionally aware and kind future adults, and it shows in the way the children treat each other. They also keep parents incredibly connected and informed through an app, where they share regular updates and photos throughout the day. It's such a joy to see the children engaged in creative projects, hands-on lessons, and meaningful play. Most importantly, Smart Start is a place you can completely trust. The safety and well-being of the children is clearly the top priority, and the environment is both warm and secure. As a parent, there's nothing more comforting than knowing your child is in such capable and loving hands!!!! You can truly see the blood, sweat, and tears that go into making Smart Start the wonderful place it is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The environment was consistently clean, safe, and thoughtfully structured. She never got sick, which speaks to the level of care and attention the staff brings to their work every single day. Their policies are clear and firm, and it is evident that they exist to protect the children and keep the space running smoothly. We always had peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. My daughter was also transformed when attending Busy Beez. When I first started, she was shy and timid, quick to meltdowns. They helped her learn to use her words, be patient, and learn to share. They also helped teach her to nap through nap time! (this was a huge struggle for me but it also carried over into the home.) I HIGHLY recommend busy beez for quality childcare. We are forever thankful that we sent our daughter there because she had such a positive experience. If you have any other questions definitely DM me! This was our first and only child, so I know how scary it can be making such a big decision. I toured many many daycares...nothing in the area compared.
