Valley Attic is a unique and special store filled with gems! I've been doing business with "the sisters" for over 7 years and recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are dedicated, provide personalized assistance and care about their consigners and buyers. They truly want the best outcome for all. Although it is second hand store, they only accept first quality high end items and unusual finds, which makes shopping and consigning such a positive experience. They have an amazing eye and have curated an inventory filled with items that you will rarely find anywhere else. The Items are often posted on Instagram so you are always up-to-date on what pieces are coming in, another unique feature. Calling all kinds of customers, including Stagers and Decorators. Love this beautiful store! First, Kathy and Jeannie are always welcoming when you stop in. Secondly, the treasures in this store are many times one of a kind. What truly makes this store a diamond is that Kathy has an amazing eye for all different pieces...from coastal, to traditional, to mid century, and modern . Her accessories are to me beautiful jewelry to add to a room to give it a personal pop. I am weekly stopping in to find little gems and I am never disappointed. I have a number of pieces of furniture in my house that I no longer need and I really dislike trying to sell things on Craigslist. A friend recommended this new consignment shop in Locust Valley. I've had a great experience so far. The owner, Cathy, was very easy and quick with communications and came to pick up my pieces the next day. She even charmed my super, which is hard to do. :) She very quickly sent a consignment receipt to me and will update as soon as my pieces are sold. Overall great experience! I was so excited to learn a store like this was opening up in my area. I am always looking for unique items to furnish my home. I sold and purchased items from here and so far all transactions have been smooth and pleasant. Got paid quickly. I stumbled upon this little shop while visiting family in the area. She said she had just opened. It is adorable! I just moved into a bigger house and was in need of some things. A total find!!! She had really nice end tables, chairs, and prints. Also some funky lamps, a mirror and an awesome antique toy car that will look great for Christmas. A whole lot for just one small shop - just my taste! Look forward to going back again soon! Definitely recommend.
