I guess location is everything, but just because you have a great location doesn't mean you should stop trying. Boxes strewn about and crazy half filled and randomly organized coolers just screamed "shop somewhere else". The homeless guys hanging around the front of the store hitting up customers for change didn't do anything to add to the appeal of the place either.

The trash had been changed and everything was well maintained. It's bright, well situated and I felt safe. The clerk was pleasant and their was no line inside. I had a slow leak in a back tire that two other garages said was nothing--just a Toyota faulty gauge. So I dropped of the car at 8:15 on Saturday morning. They said they would have it ready in about 90 minutes--they were a bit busy. I walked home, showered, took the dogs for a walk and returned to pick up my RAV-4. Ready as promised with a screw which had been removed the rear tire. All good to go. I was charged $20, a great value. But most of all, this shop was honest, friendly and competent. I got the service I needed for a very fair price. Ranger is the mechanic and such a nice guy. We talked about his wife of 42 years who passed away last fall. He has a photo of this beautiful lady at his desk. I was super impressed with this competent and friendly shop. I don't live in Santa but visit here often and would definitely return. I am super happy to have found this tire leak before I head out next week on an eleven hour road trip.
