Me and The Hubs took a recent road trip from the Denver area to Santa Fe. We took I25 down to SF, but decided to take the scenic route back home via hwy 285 through Antonito/Alamosa/Buena Vista/Fairplay, etc. So- the (approx) two-hour stretch from SF to Antonito is anything but scenic. Also, there is nowhere to stop for a bathroom break (at least not that I saw and I was looking). Then, over the horizon, there it was! A gas station! And not just some old run-down two-pump thing but a real modern Sinclair gas station! Anyway, we pulled in and found very clean restrooms and friendly staff. This location had a decent selection of snacks and drinks and was clean overall, plus it had a small restaurant that serves burgers and fries (I didn't have one, but it was good to note for future reference). As I mentioned, this is now a Sinclair gas station (not Antonito Fuels) and is about 2 hours from Santa Fe. If you're heading north from there, you'll be ready to stop. If you're driving south, STOP HERE. There's nothing else in the two hour drive from here to Santa Fe. Trust me.

That is very important to me as a woman. The self-service pumps are available 24-hours. Also, I gassed the ol' Jeep up here on 4/10/2023 heading back home. The prices are competitive with the surrounding area, albeit on the high side. That morning, Sinclair's unleaded was $3.75 per gallon. They also have plus and premium gasoline as well as diesel. The station itself is large. Clean. Trash cans weren't overflowing. Not crowded with weirdo tourists, however, it was 8:30AM. Lol. Additional services: + air + ATM + propane Easy to access from both sides of the road whether you are in a small or larger vehicle with a trailer. I bet I'll be stopping here more in the future. When I found out this place had decent restrooms and a burger grille with really good burgers it was a match made in heaven for me.

Probably the most poorly run gas station I know. Frequently out of diesel. Even out of gasoline…read moreperiodically. High prices and pumps that are screwed up almost constantly. Used to be a Shell, now it is a Valero and the new owners have not done anything to improve matters. Take your money somewhere else and, above all, don't ever put yourself in a position of depending on them for fuel.

Clerk seemed like he was high on something as he just stood there with no facial gestures nor greeting. Store seemed rather dirty but I have noticed most Allsup's are that way. Parking lot was easy to get in and out of and very clean as well as the gas pumps.

For some reason we always end up stopping here on our way home to CO from AZ. It is the only gas…read morestation around for miles and the first time we happened upon it, we were lucky because we were almost out of gas! Everytime we have been here it smells like sewage outside. Not sure if it is just the area or the place itself, but either way, it is not pleasant! Also, the restrooms are outside and they are pretty nasty. The staff seems to pick up things left on the floor, but they don't appear to have had a deep cleaning in, well, ever. The convenience store is really tiny and the selection is not that great. Only the bare essentials here. We never seem to stop here on purpose, so I am sure I will be back at some point if fate would have it!

They also offer diesel which was $4.26 per gallon that day. Cheap fuel with fast pumps is the highlight here. Meanwhile, there are a few pitfalls: - Cards only accepted. - There is no one on duty here - not that I noticed. - It seems to be a self-pump fuel station only. No convenience shop, restrooms, or anything else available. None of these pitfalls bother me because this gas station is open 24-hour, 7 days a week. Perfect for the holidays! There is a cool wing mural on the wall of the building & a car wash nearby.
