Which is kind of impressive in itself. The store is fairly big, the last time I was inside there was a Subway here. I haven't been in recently, so I'm not sure if it's still there. There's all the usual gas station/convenience store merchandise or products. It's nothing spectacular, but it's a pretty good sized store. Prices for gas are high. Like ridiculous. But, there's no other gas stations nearby. So it's pretty much an open market with no competition. My mom works just down the road from here, so when we have the "oh shit" moment of forgetting to get gas, it's easy to stop here before or after work. I had to stop in last week when I drove her to work. Other than it not being my first choice for a gas station, simply based on price, it's a great place to go for friendly customer service. I've been coming here when I need to for as long as I've been driving, and will keep returning to.

Terrible service!…read more The first time I visited was late at night and the place was empty of customers. I parked at a pump and dashed in to get a soda. I was told they would not sell it to me unless I moved my car. I ended up just leaving. I visited today and it took over 15 minutes to get gas. First, the attendant couldn't figure out how to use a card at the pump. He fiddled with it for awhile and then went to help other customers. I finally got his attention and offered to go inside. I told him I was getting $20 worth of gas and would pay cash. Inside, I told them of the problem and received a blank stare. When I went back out he was helping other people and had not pumped my gas. I got his attention and asked that he pump my gas. He could not figure out how to use the pump. He just left me and started helping other customers. I went back inside again and sincerely asked them to please, please, just pump my gas. Very reluctantly, the inside attendent finally went out to pump the gas himself. We really need self-service stations in Oregon!

What really stands out is that both times he reacted exactly the same way--acting surprised and immediately claiming it was an accident. After the second time, that's pretty hard to believe. Another red flag is that the register screen doesn't clearly show item prices as they're scanned, making it difficult for customers to verify what they're being charged. Between that and being shorted on change more than once, it leaves a very bad impression. Count your change and check your receipt before you leave.
