I just had the most horrible experience at this store. I came in to purchase mega million tickets. I marked three tickets with my own numbers and marked QP for the last two on the form. When I went to the register the cashier told me it wasn't working and that I needed to select six numbers in addition to the Mega number. I went back and read the back of the form where it clearly stated I needed to mark only 5. I got back in a long line and this time when I got up there, the other cashier said it wasn't working because i marked QP and the computer wanted me to choose numbers and to try another form without selecting QP. So I went back and filled out a new form. Since it was my 3rd time attempting to buy my tickets, I walked up to a man (dark, greasy hair, about 5'8") who I assumed was the manager to see if he could help. Now there was only one line open and it was wrapped around the corner. The manager/owner (not really sure who he was because he refused to give his name) was at the other register so I walked up there and he immediately told me he was not open. I told him it was my 3rd time trying to purchase tickets so he sighed and told me to hold on. I waited patiently for him to finish what he was doing and he eventually ran my ticket successfully this time. While paying with my debit card, the man made a comment to another employee that he was tired of the lottery and these "stupid people". I was completely shocked and repeated his comment. "Stupid people"? He looked at me and smirked, then said "you're card isn't working. You must have done something wrong again." I was in shock as I attempted to pay with my debit again, only to show declined a 2nd time. He told me to give him his tickets back. Oh my God! I couldn't believe how rude I was being treated by this man. I asked him why he was being such an asshole. He said, "you're blaming my employees when you don't know what you're doing and you're the one cussing at me." I know I shouldn't have used the word asshole but I was so upset at how I was being treated and that is exactly how he was acting. I asked for his name but he wouldn't give it to me. Thankfully the nice older gentlemen came and helped me. I paid cash and left in complete awe of what had just happened. I wish I would have taken my business elsewhere. When I got in my car I received a text from my bank saying my card was denied for consumer control. I'm not sure but I think he was hitting a button on his end because there was no issue with my card. I should add that this same man was attempting to help an older couple with their ticket while I attempted to pay the first time. He was rude to them and they left without a resolution to their ticket that couldn't be read. I should have known better. I will never set foot in that store again! read more

This shop n go makes the BEST breakfast burritos. They are huge for $6! There are big chunks of ham and potato. Their salsa comes in tiny containers, and it taste deliciously homemade. This little gem serves the BEST breakfast burritos in town. I've become obsessed with them! I usually get a small egg/potato (no cheese). The ingredients are all fresh and the tortillas are homemade. RACIST and MISOGYNISTIC ! -- I was turned away bc I don't have a CA ID!? Wtf. Recently moved here from NV. They watched me & my 3 kids grab snacks and a drink. Then at checkout asked for my ID, said because it wasn't a CA ID I couldn't get anything. NEVER going back!!! My husband goes here all the time and has never had a problem. This was the absolute worst service I've gotten in Clovis Ca. My friend (make) 19yrs old, looks about that age went in to cash the lottery tickets we'd been playing out and grab some new ones, no problem at all. I (woman) 23yrs old, went in 5 min later to cash in the tickets just bought. Except the same person serving ID me. I never have an issue showing my ID but it's only fair to ID everyone who looks under the age of 40(law). So I asked why is it that you ID me and not the gentleman that walked in to do the same thing I am doing 5 min prior, she didn't have an explanation the manager got extremely rude and told me to leave their store. It's gotten late and I realized I had no milk for my cereal breakfast, no bread for peanut butter and jelly! So I went to the Shop & Go and I was really surprised at how clean it is and how nice and relaxing it was to get my goodies and pow....done. It is what it is...it's Shop and Go. But they didn't have to be so clean and so nice. So I thought I'd write them up! If you are in the area and need a bottled water, or some fruit; a quart of milk.... I suggest you come on by and pick up your "little" things here. It reminds me of the drive-thru mini-marts in Long Island and the little corner Shops in Philly. The usual place I got breakfast burritos at closed down so I decided to give this one a try and I wasn't disappointed. Breakfast burritos were really good. The have a small and a large burrito. Where to start with this place? first the food they make daily there such as the bvreakfast burriots are amazing. Very friendly staff. They really do cater to the needs of the customer. I have never been to another quick stop shop like this one. They truley do go above and beyond what they need to. They also have a nice little dinning area if your on the go and dont want to eat in your car. They have it all, good service, friendly, good hours and good food. i recomend this place to everyone i know who is looking for good prices and good quality.
