I wish I could see her every day, she's so uplifting and does a fabulous job. I truly think she is a blonde genius. And if you're looking for extensions, this salon offers tape-ins that are so comfortable and feel just like my natural hair. They look beautiful. Olivia took her time to make sure that I was happy with the color match before ordering them, and she is so patient with explaining how to maintain them and take care of my hair. I met a styler, Sherri, one day outside the place and asked her if she can do something/anything to better my look, cover some of the weak areas. She made an appt for me a week later, and I couldn't be more happy with every aspect, from the service, style/professionalism, and even the price was worth it for not having to settle for a Great Clips quickie cut! I was leaving to go away on vacation the next day so couldn't go back to have it fixed. She used a method I have never seen before, a type of comb that is supposed to weave the hair perfectly. They have different tiers, $15, $30, $40, etc. so it was really easy to work into my budget. Maven is a lot different than any other place I've been to. The hair dressers don't have their own stations, which was strange to me. I'm used to places that feel more like you're at home. Even though Maven was a relaxing experience, it still just felt really uptight, if that makes sense. I may try it again in the future, but I feel like it might just be a one time experience for me.
