    First, let me say, I love Dr. Valerie Small & the NP Megin Iaccarino (who just left for another…read morejob) & A place has to be truly horrible for me to give a bad review.... that being said... After 8yrs I can no longer tolerate how the office functions (or doesn't). Appointment times are chronically late, office staff does not call in medications or handle calls in a timely manor. I've had blood tests that weren't called when I've gotten to the lab & am constantly having to follow up with them to do their job. If I ran my business like this I'd be out of work. Just as the pandemic was starting (Yale had already implemented their curb side wait appointment rules) Middlesex just plowed ahead & was not pro-active at all regarding new procedures. I HAD to go to my appointment or my meds wouldn't be refilled... one of the office staff was making copies while I was checking in coughing all over everything. I've LITERALLY been on hold with them for 27+ minutes... would LOVE to have my request processed via MyChart, however, 5 -6 months out with that software & they STILL can't process refill requests (see photo of my request going unanswered for 10 days). I was dressed down from Dr. Shane Ridge, as he quibbed "We don't do same day refills" -- dude.... I can send you a screen shot right now of all my calls to your office on my iPhone log.... give me a break! I've taken the 'feedback' requests but nothing ever changes. I've had breast cancer, I have Crohn's disease & my health care is important. I will sadly be leaving this practice & will miss Dr. Small & her great advice :(
