The girl didn't acknowledge me for about twenty seconds and then said, "yeah, I'll be right back" and walked to the back. A girl standing in front of me asked, "what did you need?" I said, just a small container for the chili flakes" she reached over and handed me a 2oz plastic container, at which point, the blonde girl returned with a thimble sized plastic container... no exaggeration, thimble sized. The blonde girl literally tried to take the bigger cup out of my hand, which I held onto. I said, "I prefer the larger one, it's for FOUR EXTRA LARGE PIZZAS" and she looked me right in the eye and said, "No, unless you want to pay .50 for it" I pulled the cup away and gave the second girl a buck and told her to keep the change. The two employees who witness this interaction had a "WTF is going on" look on their faces. This was my first time, and obviously last time here, and I'm really not sure what was going on. The whole interaction felt personal. I don't know if she thought is was someone else or a previous bad customer, but I can just as easily drive a 100 yards down the road for a equally good pizza and at least a smile when I walk in.

As acting Co-manager, I would just like to state some of the information regarding Meadville Valenza Restaurant LLC. We are doing everything we can to serve great tasting food to the public. Times are difficult and options are limited in what we are allowed to do. Inexperienced staff out front and limited phone lines are just some basic issues. Our Hours are as Followed: 11am-7pm Monday - Saturday. 12pm-7pm on Sunday. Ordering ahead of time is a viable option, but it does not guarantee it will be done at the specified time. It just gives me a heads up, and I will do anything in my power to accommodate your request. Our build your own pasta menu is still in effect, and I would love to continue with this option, but we still have the option to refuse to make something that was never intended. Here is an example. I have no issue making Macaroni and Cheese with something like Spaghetti noodles instead of the accustomed Penne, but to ask if I can make it with Ravioli as the base noodle, I have to deny that request. I hate to refuse this kind of service to anyone, but at this time, it's just simply not a possibility. The menu that is online may not be 100% accurate, many changes have been made since it was first posted by whoever and whenever it was. I am sorry about that inconvenience. food was overcooked and somehow cold at the same time. you could hear the two male cooks arguing in the back the entire meal, killed the entire vibe. servers did the best they could with the food provided. The restaurant itself is a shot gun space designed with booths in the center rather than the sides, creating a better overall balanced space while also creating very cozy and romantic booths down the center of the room. A strategically placed bar with a large mirror at the far end of the dining area brightens the entire room and invites diners into the restaurant. The menu is fairly sophisticated, and offers something for almost everyone. I had the Pecan Crusted Chicken, sauteed and drizzled with a savory brie beschamal and striped with raspberry coulis and served on top of a bed of basmati rice pilaf. The presentation was beautiful and the food was excellent. The wife had the Wild Mushroom Risotto and said it was delicious. We shared a Pecan Upside Down Cake a la mode for dessert that was fantastic. Our server Tim was efficient, attentive, and personable. We went back the very next night (because it was apparent that Bella Cucina is the area's premium restaurant) and sat at the bar where we had a great time interacting with local patrons.
