I am writing this review on my mother's behalf…read more She presented to Dr Murray with very concerning symptoms which prompted a slew of testing. It's been over a week and we have yet to hear from her office regarding any clinical information despite numerous attempts to gain more clarity and information. Not only have I been scrambling to coordinate my Moms care, Dr Murray flat out refuses to return our calls despite the urgency of this situation. Her staff has informed us that she "does not speak to patients". Her cavalier attitude speaks volumes about her professionalism and character. This is clearly not a physician that cares about her patients. Save your time, and look elsewhere if you are seeking professional and compassionate care.

I explained that I am moving to fairfield and I need to establish new care since I am 15 weeks pregnant and I cant see my old provider due to distance - I was told that it doesn't matter and I need to find someone else. I am extremely upset by this experience, this is very poor customer service and patient care. It's unfair that if i was 6 weeks pregnant, I could be seen but since I'm 15 weeks, it is now not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told that they dont have one. *patient care is clearly not a priority to this practice*.

Most of the instruments they used on me were open out there in their drawers. Sterile and packaged? Their beds are really very filthy, they cover with a thin paper, who knows, who was there before you..

I even had my insurance advocates contact them directly. Just a warning on the Avery Center OBGYN billing office. They incorrectly bill for services and then will not correct it. Please just be very careful. I never even write reviews, but when it directly impacts me and potentially other women - I feel it is needed - because if it is happening to me it has to be happening to other women who are just paying the bill when it is FULLY covered by insurance. Granted sometimes and understandably mistakes happen - so I very much understand - but when you have insurance advocates contact them directly and they still don't correct the billing - this is a problem. I am not saying the service was bad or anything of that nature. I actually really liked my doctor who has since left the practice. They send it right off to collections - rather than fixing the coding so the insurance pays. Please just when a bill comes from that office review it carefully whether it is $10 - $1,000 most likely a coding error that won't be fixed.

The staff at the front desk was too chatty with each other while people sat in the waiting room which is unfair for those who have been waiting for a long while. I actually watched a pregnant woman leave and when she was gone the office staff talked about how she wasn't understanding that more then one dr was on which was why people were going in before her. I don't know how long to woman waited but she had to go to work.. she was there before me for at least 20 minutes and it was definitely disrespectful for the staff to loudly talk about a patient being wrong for leaving. So basically dr c is great but she could use a better staff and work on her wait times!!

I am fairly new to Dr. Choudhary and this practice - Just a couple of years. In that time I have…read morereceived excellent care. But more than that, I have been treated with kindness and respect from everyone in the office. I am writing this because I had an experience today that I have NEVER had at ANY doctor's office before. 2 hours before my scheduled appointment, I got a call from the office saying they were running a few minutes behind and offered that I could arrive 10 minutes later so I would not have to wait in the waiting room for an extended period of time. How many times are you rushing to get out the door and need a few extra minutes - or would love to pick up a cup of coffee on your way, but don't want to be late? I am grateful for their show of kindness and respect. I know that Doctors can run behind. I have waited so many times in a waiting room where no one says anything to you, and you sit there wondering why their time is so much more valuable than yours'. To show such consideration and respect to a patient...well, this is a first. When I thanked the doctor, another surprise. She was happy to find that I appreciated it and told me that they valued all their patients' time. Then, she said I should thank Destiny. That she is the one that will go out to the desk and ask that a patient be called if she sees that there will be a delay. So to Dr. Choudhary, Destiny and the whole crew, thank you. I appreciate the extra effort you make!
