Small irregular sites. People parked so driving through was difficult. Nobody on duty when we arrived and it wasn't late. Our site was occupied by the neighbors truck. It's a simple RV Park. The bathrooms were spacious and way cleaner than I'd have expected. You'll be parked amongst full timers, not all the sites have pic nic tables but the hook ups were easy, there were free spaces even though we hadn't reserved anything ahead and, yea, if we find ourselves ready to call it in that area again, we'd stop back. It's not a destination stay but good if you need to sleep. read more

Great but old place for a night on your way to Idaho or Oregon. Noisy railroad right next door with trucks loading their goods (including animals). Wi-Fi actually worked well for an RV park. Bathrooms were pretty clean but very old. We booked online on our way to Oregon and never met anyone as it was after hours. I can see why it was only $35 per night. read more

We made a reservation to stay here but canceled the same day, after new reviews showed up, which concerned us. So we did not stay. The photos are 5 years old. The Owner of this park needs to read Trip-Advisor and Yelp and address the issues and do something about it. This is a main thoroughfare, and there is an RV park called River Point RV not too far away which has massive spaces and is nearly full by evening with people staying one night on their way to their destination, which shows how much business this place is loosing. It looked so cute in the old photos & the town of Vale is cute. Please bring this park back to its potential, and make people feel safe. At least get onto social media and address customers concerns. read more

One space only 20 amp electrical service, and I got it. There are 30 and 50 amp pedestals available. Four spaces no sewer, they're normally saved for overnighters. Electricity isn't metered. Water pressure is good and tastes good to me. Monthly renters are asked to water the grass at their site. I use a timer to shut the water off after a few minutes automatically. This was the only place I could find space in the area when I made my reservation many weeks ago, and they made space for three RVs while we're working in the area. $450/month. Fact is they could have simply said "Sorry, no monthlies" at the time, but they didn't. Everyone else in the Ontario area just told us "no space". The owners are very nice and responsive. When I had a problem with the electricity (the breaker tripped for the circuit my space was at, I'm not sure why) at almost 10pm, they answered the phone (they never told me when I checked in that they would answer the phone day or night, and they deserve recognition for being available and responsive) and resolved the issue quickly. That and other things have changed my original review and brought my rating up. read more

We are on our way to Wyoming and this was a great stop. We spent 7 days here. Level sites, and quiet. Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond to help us and we truly appreciated it. We have a 36' ft class A and had no problems getting into our spot. Full hookups and good cell coverage, internet was good but we also have a booster too. Grocery and stores and gas is nearby. read more

We had a nice little stay at Vale Trails. Owner/manager very friendly and accommodating. Not many amenities but we were just there for the night. Gretchen has decorated the flower beds with gorgeous hand painted rocks that are worth the stop itself. read more

First the positive: the manager and guests were very friendly, our site had water & 30-amp electricity, the wi-fi was usable, and it was the only rv park with available sites within 60 miles. The negative: the sites are very narrow & tight, the bathrooms are yuck, there must be a stockyard nearby cuz the manure smell was overpowering, it was harvest season so semis & trains passed by frequently (but mercifully stopped at nightfall), the wi-fi was too slow to stream anything and it's very dusty when the wind blows. I can only recommend this place if you're desperate for place to overnight. read more

Found this wonderful campground on the way back to Roseburg and was greeted with a wonderful couple that runs the park. Not only did they help us check in they went out of their way to help us(first time campers) with our hook up and products that we needed to get set up. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a stay here if u are passing through. read more

This is a hidden jewel in the Treasure Valley of Eastern Oregon. I love the rustic country setting, the nice level full hook up 50 amp pull through. The owners are very accommodating and you can buy home raised fresh hen eggs when you check in! It's a few miles off I-84, but well worth the drive! read more

This is a no frills place, but I can say it has what you need and it's super clean. We were traveling through. I made reservations for all our nights except this one bcuz we weren't sure how far we were going to drive on this day. I called all rv parks from boise to vale and lucky for us vale had a spot. I called, she took my information, no credit card to hold my spot. At 730pm we hadn't gotten there yet, Gretchen called to check if we were still on the way, she gave me instructions for when we get there since they closed at 7pm. How super personable. This place is actually in a great location. If you want comfortable country style, this is wonderful. Hey, not a high end place, but location and owners make up for any fancy amenities. We were traveling with another couple on Memorial Day weekend. Thgey had some major mechanical problems with their vehicle which changed our plans for our return trip home. I had contacted several RV parks and all of them were full. I then called Vale Trails RV Park and left a message. They returned my call within 1p minutes and were very pleasant to work with both in making arrangements to stay and upon our arrival. I would most certainly do a return visit if we're back this way! read more

Very nice Park for stopping through. Pull up hard on water pump at site 19. Read a review that the WiFi was excellent. I'd say it was OK at times. Love that the small town is walking distance. Picked up mexican food from the place campground owner recommended and walked to a park with our dog and ate in a pavilion after getting caught in the rain. Worked out perfect. Park was next to rodeo grounds, so we got to watch the horses arriving. Campground is very well groomed. We'd stay again for sure. Gretchen and Tammy are very friendly! read more

Loved this little park. Everything screams TLC. Buildings are not new but premises are clean, manicured and cared for. Owners could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Dog park in the planning stages but still plenty of places to walk. Would have appreciated a bare bones grocery store where I could have purchased a can of tomatoes but am told grocery just 3 blocks away. Will stop again next trip through Ontario. read more

Tammy and Gretchen run a clean, pleasant RV park. The bathrooms and showers are always clean, the laundry room is open all hours, the grass is watered and mowed regularly (which is nice when the temps are 100 degrees or higher), there is bagged ice on site (honor system) a great selection of RV parts and household items in the store. The nightly prices are good, but as long-term RVers, we are paying a very fair monthly price of about $500. (Honestly, I almost didn't want to post this very positive review because it's like telling everyone where your favorite fishing hole is. But the owners deserve kudos for their investment and hard work.) read more

If I could give this crap hole negative stars, I would. Apparently, it used to be a fairly nice park a few years ago. Now it's absolutely vile. The fenced dog area is only gravel. It has a 50 gallon garbage can with no lid where you are supposed to use a rake and shovel to dispose of poo. If that isn't disgusting enough, they wait a week or so until it's overflowing and swarming with flies before they empty it. I almost puked every time I had to go near it. Our current park has cute little covered cans that are emptied several times daily and always plenty of poo bags to pick up and dispose of poo without the swarm of flies. Our space left a great deal to be desired as well. No cement or asphalt or grass. It was dirt and weeds. Lots of flies came over to visit from the poo bucket as well. It was impossible to enjoy the lovely cool weather because of the swirling dust and the flies. In addition, there are many "permanent " residents in this park. They do not require RV's to be legally tagged, insured or even road worthy. There are three people in one RV with four little pesky dogs that were not always leashed and would try to attack anyone that got close. Another RV had 4 adults and 3 dogs and all had lived there for 4 years. Very questionable residents in this park and if you stay there, make sure to keep your stuff locked up. Also, make sure you have a surge protector. One of the residents is suing the owners because a power surge fried a lot of his stuff and the owners were apparently uninsured. Lots of drama at this dumpy little RV park. I suggest that you keep on driving for another 20 minutes and find a spot in Caldwell or Nampa. read more

The place was clean. It was pretty noisy because of the cows next door which was kinda funny. Bathrooms were clean and showers didn't require quarters. The woman that runs the place is really friendly and helpful and they have a nice store with RV parts. The grounds were okay, nothing special. I'd stay again if I were in the area, at least for an over niter. The price was inexpensive as well. I think we paid $25. read more

What a great place to stay. I called for a spot on Sunday evening. The lady I spoke with said they were closed but she said to come by anyway. It was another 1hr before we arrived. They were very helpful when we got there. Very friendly. Place is really nice. They have a cute little area just for the dogs. All fenced and clean. We tent-camped here one night, and it was just right. The tent area is small and peaceful, with a lush lawn and big shady trees and even a little vegetable garden. Bathrooms were clean and functional. WiFi was fine. The park staff were friendly and helpful. It's about two blocks to the main street of town, where there are restaurants and, on July 4th, a great parade. Would certainly stop here again. read more

Only stayed at this park overnight but would definitely stay longer if we had the time. From the moment of check in we felt so welcome. We were shown to our site and advised to ask for anything we needed. The park is all pull thrus , trees and grass. The restrooms were immaculate.
