Many of them are stressed out, overworked, and suffering from burn out. It's these types of conditions that cause doctors to make mistakes and grow apathetic towards their patients, especially those in "factory" medical centers where the objective is to churn out as many appointments a day as possible. Dr. Frolov is none of those things. He is a genuine medical professional who takes the time to give his patients the attention they deserve. I have never, ever felt rushed during one of our appointments. He sits, listens intently, asks relevant questions, and makes a real, thorough attempt to get at the heart of whatever may be troubling you. He has a wide breadth of medical experience, but is not above pulling up recent medical articles from the web or referring you to a specialist if the situation warrants. His objective is to make you better. What I appreciate about Dr. Frolov, in addition to his expertise, are his bedside manners. He is polite and reassuring. This may not be as important to other people, but for me, the relationship between a patient and a doctor is a sacred one. My health is a very personal thing and when I bring my ailments, fears, and anxieties to my doctor, I want the comfort of knowing that there is someone very human, very personable on the other side of the table. Now, I don't want to delude anyone. Dr. Frolov keeps a pretty cool demeanor most of the time. I don't expect that he's going to wow anyone with his exuberance. He's there for a purpose, but he does it in a friendly way that makes you feel at ease. And in an industry where those basic niceties are getting harder to come by, I'm glad Dr. Frolov hasn't wavered. Lastly, because it needs to be said, Dr. Frolov keeps his appointments reasonably on time.

I asked him if 3 little painless bumps could be shingles. He said yes. Ridiculous! I take beta blockers for decades. Block adrenaline. My prescription needed refill. For no reason he took over a week. My system was flooded with adrenaline fast heart rate high bp shaking. Terrible rebound. Dangerous. Miserable. Not reason. Showed him my fingernails. Breaking. Said struggling with good diet. Asking for help. He looked and gave me a big smile. There is something off here. Got thrown out his practice. Moved down the street. He is not providing care. Graduated from USC. Used to be smart. Reported to scan and medical board.

So this rating is solely based on this location and how the business is being handled. Side note :I was there for an appointment where these is absolutely no parking at all!! I was late to my appt but was in there 7 mins late. When I got in there was a line and only one of the two receptionist would acknowledge anyone checking in. Why have two women with one there taking up space to ignore patients? I was there within the 15 mins late grace period! The two people in front of me didn't speak English and required maybe a translator to help them they each took a huge amount of time that made me later to check in, however I had checked in online and updated my address and insurance as well as my drivers license before showing up 24 hours before..... So why the long wait to ask the same information from me. What's the point of the online check in then? Just for kicks and giggles?? After having me sit after checking in again with the lovely front desk lady that did actually check me in, in a room of coughing sick people while I'm autoimmune for twenty some minutes. Then a young lady medical assistant came out behind the counter from the back to tell me I needed to be rescheduled due to me being so late. Wtf! I was within the grace period and had already checked in before hand 24 hours before!!! The one woman with the neck tatted up simply ignoring everyone up front could have simply told them I was there and asked if I had already checked in to expedite me as all was in order. Or place someone else that can help there and is she's doing billing she does not need to be upfront at all! There was nothing at all I needed to line up for to discuss when already checked in! Their check in system and pre check in is a joke. I added in my primary new PPO in advance and had the secondary all still the same as I had before. I declared all this 24 hours before. So how is now one looking at this before of you require it before? Why ask people to recheck in to simply ignore all previous 24 hour check in data and have us stand in line where you need a translator not a receptionist. The people that took up all that time were super super early so they were taking up the time of someone who had an appt now and had already checked in. There has to be a better way. I made the app as an emergency as I have had high exposure to severe toxic particular matter inside my rental home and having to pay 5.9k a month for rent on a house that I am forced to buy a tent as well as a blow up mattress to sleep in my backyard due to the two Urgent care visits I had recently showing me the dangerous particular matter is from a new AC installation with no permit that was not put in right. Dr. Rezvan please open your own practice and leave this dysfunctional place please. I would be willing to use PPO and pay full price to see you and the Paloma company is being ran extremely inadequately to its full function. To the owner; At this level you will only see HMO or MediCal patients and loose out on money as it's being ran like it's a dollar discount t store. With no care or attention to detail. Now I'm left urgently sick with no appointment . The assistant was trying to book me out weeks out in complete unawareness to my severe and urgent need for care. Literally negligence is right up there with the words that came to mind and it's not the Dr it's the owner and how he is running the place. I wonder if the insurance companies need to refer patients elsewhere where they have enough staff to accommodate the quantity of patients booked at once. When I was describing why I needed pain meds she literally laughed at me and said no! She sent me away and told me if I wanted pain medication I would have to see various specialists for the ailments I was describing to her and she proceeded to say that she will not be willing to medicate me for the problems I was describing ... After making appointments with the various specialists, then having to wait for appointments and still being in pain, it turns out I have needed three various surgeries since seeing her and the surgeries were all for the exact reasons she laughed at me and refused to treat my pain seriously over .... I now no longer need pain medication because I have had the problems fixed. If I would have continued seeing her, I would have just lived in Pain and never got the problems fixed since she thought it was comical that I was having the medical issues I was describing to her and did not take me seriously. I would not recommend this Dr. at all!
