David quickly discovered I had high inflammation due to autoimmune (Hashimoto hypothyroidism). He explained why I needed to change my diet to warm alkaline foods. At all times I felt I was in good hands during the three months I was in his care. He was very accommodating when I had to change appointment times. Very professional, well trained, respectful, attentive and thoughtful. Compared to other acupuncturist in DFW, his rates are on the low end, but his care is on the high end.

So, when I needed my BHRT replaced In December I authorized them a 1 x time charge, for 1 x times the BHRT Pellet fee, and that was it nothing else. Thinking that was the end of it until next time, boy was I wrong! (Keep in mind these only get implanted every 6 months or so.) However exactly 1 month later January 23 I get another charge for 3 x times the amount and this is supposed to be for an oral cheek dissolvable estrogen compound tablet that came out of nowhere, only arrives in the mail without warning of any kind with an invoice billing me again 3 times the amount of implantable that I received a month ago. My practitioner contacted this company, and then I also tried to contact this company and oddly the manager of the company would not even get on the phone with me. They sent a message to the accounting department back to her stating that "the accounts receivable lady can tell me they've already spoken to my provider and that was it nothing further they could do, and that my they couldn't accept the package back not because the content's had been opened or disturbed but because the PLASTIC FEDX package had been opened... I went through it and it turned out I was allergic to much more than I expected. We started out with antigens treatment that is based on exactly what you are allergic to. It can up to 6 months to notice the difference but I was fortunate and it started working already after a couple of weeks. I haven't even had a cold since then! The staff are always courteous and remind you ahead of time of your appointments. If you get allergy drops, you can either pick them up at the office or they can mail them to you. Dr Otto has very good bedside manners and is always very good at his job.

The male nurse at the check-in desk made him feel as if he didn't belong there because he didn't "look sick." When my family member got to the back, he was given a breathing treatment and was left in the room over 20 minutes after it completed. He also told the healthcare provider that he hadn't eating in over 10 hours and they still proceeded to give him medication that needed to be taken with food. When he got back home, he was vomiting all over the place. When he got his diagnosis, the male nurse (same person who checked him in) was surprised! He shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. Just because a person doesn't look well does not mean they don't feel well in their body! Again, he was made to feel as if he just wandered in there off the street. We have wonderful insurance (even if we did not, it shouldn't make a difference b/c healthcare providers should treat each person the same). This family member is a college student in his senior year and needed the help and what does he get? Mistreatment and prejudice! I told him to not visit this place again; at least not on the 3rd shift. The people there obviously didn't want to do their jobs! High reviews? How? I'm very concerned for my family member to get care being so far from home while in college. THIS is why I worry because of people like this! Shame on you, "Total" Care.

All of these incidents happened with in a few months of each other and some overlapping. To keep it short they missed plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome in babies) in my infant twins. I had a wonderful friend encourage me to get a second opinion after the PA reassured me for MONTHS that it would "round out." Turns out my daughter was SEVERE requiring two helmets and had a misaligned jaw. I brought to her attention that my 7 year old had an uneven scapula and looked as if it was early onset scolioses. I had to ask for PT and that was all we were given. No referral to a specialist or even recommendation to see one. We were told it would be fine and she'd grow out of it. We are seeing a surgery specialist next month. The last straw was my infant son at 7 months went into the office because he was crying, wouldn't eat and kept pulling on his ears. she said they were kind of red and he could get an antibiotic if it didn't get better. It didn't get better so we tried the antibiotic. He wouldn't eat for weeks. I called the office and tried to get some help. All they wanted was another office deductible to tell me to try another antibiotic. This went on for months where he wouldn't eat. She wasn't concerned and said he would out grow it and it was a phase. After a visit with a GI Specialist it turns out he was allergic to his formula I had breast fed until he was 7 months old). By the time we got him to a specialist after dealing with her nonsense and run around for months he was considered FAILURE TO THRIVE. He hadn't gained an ounce in over THREE MONTHS. I am all for holistic approach to medical care! I love my naturopath doctor & facility. This is not a qualified office to deal with more than a cold or flu. Side note: you will only ever see the PA. EVER. The Dr at the practice lives in Colorado. When I delivered my twins the nurses encouraged me to find a different practice and I didn't listen. I was warned.
