But as I've been making a conscious effort to support more local and smaller businesses, I decided it was time to branch out for my monthly waxes, which is what brought me to the Pretty Kitty. Booking online was painless; very quick and easy. And I appreciated receiving a reminder text along as well. I was also texted a couple follow-up questions about my new client forms, which I was able to easily answer quickly. The salon itself is absolutely adorable. It's beautifully decorated with a fun, sleek, and welcoming vibe that made me feel comfortable. My wax specialist, Alexis, was phenomenal. I had my nostrils and a Brazilian wax done, and she was incredibly attentive, gentle, and professional. Honestly, it was probably the least painful Brazilian I've had in over 20 years of getting waxed! She also took the time to tweeze a few stubborn stragglers, a detail that not every esthetician bothers with, and I really appreciated the extra care. From the easy scheduling to the outstanding service, and reasonable pricing, this experience exceeded my expectations. I'll be going here from now on!!! ps. **DO NOT KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE AT THIS LOCATION**…read more Let me start by saying Yakira is absolutely AMAZING! She's my go to person at this location. What's NOT OK is the reception personnel taking it upon themselves to sign me up for the Prepaid Wax Package for $594 with a credit card I had on file for my regular service, when I SPECIFICALLY asked them to call me to remind about the promo before it expired. Next thing I know I have $148.50 coming out of my account on a regular basis and I NEVER signed up for this!! All because the front reception area personnel was having an internal "contest" to sign up clients around the holidays. Misuse and unauthorized use of customer's credit cards without their consent or a SIGNED contract for services is a NO-NO! I haven't had the mental bandwidth to deal with this just yet, nor has my schedule permitted.

I came here for my birthday last week to get a regular polish mani-pedi. Throughout my appointment,…read moreI was repeatedly asked if I wanted gel instead of regular polish, which felt like they were constantly trying to upsell me. My pedicure was great and the technician took her time, paid attention to detail, and did a really nice job. I was very happy with that part of my visit. Unfortunately, my manicure was a completely different experience. Right after I told the manicure technician I wanted regular polish, she started applying a gel top coat, so I had to stop her and remind her that I wasn't getting gel. She also rushed through the manicure, leaving polish missing along the sides of every nail and around the cuticles. I wasn't sure how to point it out in the moment without making things awkward, so I stayed quiet. To make matters worse, they brought me my receipt while I was still getting my nails done, and I noticed they had charged me for a gel mani-pedi instead of regular polish. I had to correct them yet again. I paid around $60-70 before tip, which I think is far too expensive for the quality of service I received. Within just two days, my manicure had already started chipping, and it became even more obvious where the polish had been missed. Now, only a week later, my nails look so worn and chipped that there's no point in keeping the polish on. While I really appreciated the quality of the pedicure, the manicure and overall experience were disappointing. For the price I paid, I expected much better attention to detail and longer-lasting results.
