I can see my child learning, happy, and comfortable with the staff in the school. I am able to go to work with peace of mind because I see that my child is not only being well taking care of, but he is learning as a kindergartener. Their curriculum is impressive and they also use the Montessori approach which I love and respect. They are also great communicating and keeping parents informed. Overall, my child and my family are having a wonderful experience at Weston Learning academy. Thank you WLA!.

However, we needed a school that checked ALL the boxes; academic approach/curriculum, safety and security, professionalism, trustworthy, communicative, importance to cleanliness(this was even more important because we started during the pandemic). Weston Learning Academy checked EVERY.SINGLE.BOX. Mrs. Dolores was responsible for our first impression of the school and she made a lasting one. She is a joy to communicate with and she is so intuitive and understanding. Our daughter is excelling academically and loves going to school. Ms. Anais is a wonderful teacher and has prepared her very well for the transition to Kindergarten. Credit goes to the administration, faculty and staff for making children feel so welcome and excited to learn. Of course it was a no brainer when our second child was ready, WLA was the school for her. Once again, they proved that we had made the best choice for our girls. There's nothing more important than peace of mind when it comes to your kids. That's what WLA gives us everyday we drop them off.

What a shame to see my old high school have such awful reviews. Cypress Bay is one of the greatest…read morehigh schools in the nation and I'm not just saying that because I went there. I have talked too many people who went to other schools and transferred to Cypress Bay or friends who moved away, every time they said that Cypress Bay was not only better, but MUCH better. The school gives you so much freedom, not only in the typical style of picking your classes/clubs, but the staff respects it's students and doesn't enforce strict rules on everyone. By the staff giving the students this freedom, they expect the students to not take advantage of that freedom and for the most part they don't. What results here is a well-established relationship between the students and staff that really works. The classes here are great with some of the best teachers in the state, many of whom you talk to will tell you how much they appreciate working at the school. There are so many AP classes available and many great electives that other schools may not offer. Through this they do a great job preparing their students for their future. For example, some very intelligent kids can choose to do many high-level AP credits if they want to go to into the medical field. At the same time, someone like me can join a club and take classes on something like TV Production which was amazing in preparing for me for my career. Speaking of clubs there are so many, that you can find something for everyone. This almost reminds me of what I see in college. Most of the students stay at Cypress Bay after school for clubs or sports activities. It's great to see so many students getting involved and it's also great to see the pride they have for the school. Sure are there a lot of students, but that also prepares you for college and it can also be a good thing. Think about it this way, the more students there, the more likely you are to find someone who will share things in common with you and make easy friends. The school is clean, safe and amazingly managed by the staff. The experience you have here is one of a kind, I wouldn't go anywhere else for highschool if I had a choice. 4 years of great times, I honestly have nothing negative to say about the school. Please do not let some sour reviews influence you to send your children to private school. Believe it or not, Cypress Bay is preferred by many students who went to the local private schools. I only hope one day my children can go to a school like this. 5/5

My child started this school when she was 3 and has grown SO MUCH since then. We would have stayed at Three Village Montessori until 4th grade if we could, but unfortunately business has relocated us. They are a true Montessori school with certified teachers. The facility itself is clean and organized. Classroom sizes are spacious and the materials on the shelves are so inviting for children. I love the Montessori method of independent learning and that my child was constantly working to her potential. We received MONTHLY progress reports about how she was doing in all areas: socially, academically, etc.which was so great because both my husband and I work such long hours we feared we wouldn't truly know how she was doing in school. This was never the case. The director Ms Vivian is always there greeting the children in the morning and is so warm and welcoming to everyone. Her assistant Romina is kind and helpful. Their cook Ms Aurora is the sweetest lady and makes the children lunch from scratch with so much love. If my child didn't like what was served that day, she would go back in the kitchen to see what else she could make her instead. This school truly is an extension of family. I have personally witnessed a child start crying for their mother and right away Ms Vivian or Ms Romina go to investigate where the crying is coming from and why. They truly love and care about every child at that school. My child always came home telling me all the fun she had in Ms Peggy's classroom. I was so shocked to read the review below because my child LOVED Ms Peggy so much and misses her to this day. Not once did I get a negative report from my daughter and even I admit she could be challenging at times. We spent a very happy three years at Three Village Montessori and genuinely recommend that you go check it out for yourself. You wont regret it!

Brendon Flynn got me into college. Now, I know that sounds like quite a big statement to make but…read moreit's the truth. I've always been a diligent, dedicated student but I struggled in mathematics. Really struggled and my SAT math scores showed as much. I'd done multiple SAT prep courses where they seat you at a desk and test your abilities before the big day but I always came out feeling more discouraged than I started. I attended Mr. Flynn's SAT Prep course expecting much of the same-- they'd dole out some material, have you complete it and give you a company line as to why you got the answer wrong or right. There was no communication. It wasn't personal at all, much like the test itself makes you believe-- you're a series of numbers and those numbers try their very best to define you. Brendon does the opposite.     In fact, per my disillusionment and the fact that I'd taken the test five times already with unbudging scores, I didn't expect much when I sat down for this prep class, but I was willing to give it a chance. I'm entirely glad I did because Brendon actually discussed where I went wrong, was willing to take the time to address each students needs individually and as a whole. His methods differed from the standard in that he succeeded in creating a calm, comforting, yet professional atmosphere that lent itself to questions, concerns and general issues we'd been too nervous to ask in other classes. I don't want you to think he works magic, but it's very close to that. He takes the fear out of this big, overwhelming test so that when you head in on an early weekend morning, it's with the reassurance that you've got this, despite everything else.     Upon receiving my scores after the fact, my math SAT score did go up. It wasn't astronomical but considering the fact that my math score seemed to be on a steady decline, it was the best news I'd received yet. The testing atmosphere before, during and after you take the SAT isn't one that lends itself to calamity and ease, but knowing that you've worked through similar problems and prepared to the best of your ability is all down to Flynn's methods himself. I didn't get into the school I'd hoped and my circumstances were extraneous at best-- but Brendon went the extra mile for me and was part of the reason I successfully attended a university I loved and completed my degree in Creative Writing. He didn't have to do that, but he saw how I needed that extra push and he led me to my avenues of success in the process. Deciding to attend his SAT Prep course wasn't something I wanted to do. I dreaded it and dragged my feet because I was so over the fact that this test tried its best to redefine my sense of accomplishment but Brendon's methods gave me a new way of looking at it and for that, I am unwaveringly thankful to him. Sign up for this course. I can't recommend it enough, not only because it truly helps but it gives the student taking the exam and the worried parent probably reading this a chance to take a breath-- Brendon Flynn won't let your kid down and that's a promise, tried and true, from someone he unwittingly and unknowingly helped in the long run.

Hands down, the best guy to go to for SAT prep. At that time, I knew very little about the Montessori Method of education and even less about dealing with school aged children. I found Ms. Levine's demeanor and candor to be refreshing, straight forward and honest. At the end, I walked away with a great impression of the school. Fast forward a few years and now my wife and I were evaluating the schools in the area to send our oldest for pre-school. At "national chain pre-school", there was a weird smell and kids were running around everywhere like a mad house. The staff was clearly overwhelmed due to the number of kids they were responsible for. We couldn't really see how they could teach if they could barely keep the kids' attention. Plus, that smell. At "local chain pre-school", the video cameras were pretty cool, but we felt like they were more interested in the bells and whistles than really educating the children. Way too salesy and there was a child crying the entire time we were there with no attention from a single staff member. This kid was bawling his eyeballs out. I get it that sometimes kids are crybabies, but geez! Someone really should have consoled him in some way. At Apple Tree, everything was waaaaaaay different. The place was clean and neat, kids went from place to place in an orderly fashion, and all the kids looked happy. We were not immediately pressured to write a check or enroll our child. Instead, Ms. Levine told us more about Montessori, the benefits for our children, and showed us an example of a lesson. We were invited back for our child to be evaluated to see if he would be a good fit for the school and to see if the school would be a good fit for him. It gave me great comfort to know that the school is not just another money grab and that they are truly interested in creating an optimal environment for kids to reach their potential. Fast forward to today. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to send my kids to Apple Tree. From my experience, Montessori teaches life skills and allows the children to maximize their learning potential. The kids are well adjusted, self-motivated and they LOVE their school from top to bottom. As a result of their Apple Tree education, they have crushed every standardized test to date. I would highly recommend Apple Tree to my closest friends and family.

When I contacted the front office, I was told they would not provide any information unless I scheduled a tour. As a working single mom with limited availability, it is very difficult to commit to an in-person visit without first knowing basic details such as tuition, program structure, and availability. I have never encountered a policy where absolutely no information could be shared prior to booking a tour. It felt unreasonable to expect parents to invest time away from work without confirming whether the program would even be a good fit financially or logistically. After reading other reviews, I noticed similar comments about the school being very "private." While I understand and appreciate maintaining security and privacy for the children, there should still be transparency and open communication with prospective parents. Feeling informed and included is essential when making decisions about our children's care and education. Unfortunately, the lack of openness made the environment feel unwelcoming rather than inviting. I would have loved the opportunity to explore becoming part of their community, but first impressions matter -- especially when it comes to our children.
