He said the way to fix it was to knock a hole in the wall and replace the entire piping system to the tub. We refused and he left, saying that he would try to figure out what else he could do to fix it. My wife went to Lowe's and bought two new universal handles. We both installed the handles and they work great. Jim's Plumbing sent me a bill for $174 for nothing. It's pretty sad that a 78-year-old grandma could figure out how to fix it, and your plumber couldn't. Watch out for people who want to scam you into thinking you have to replace something for thousands of dollars, when it only cost you $13.

I had Don replace a primary sump pump for me in 2018. After having flooding in prior homes, I did…read morenot want this to happen again. Don suggested a Hydro-powered back-up pump. With a reasonable cost, I had him put in the primary and back-up pumps. After that, I had the confidence to finish my basement as a recreation room. After 8 years, my primary pump died. (This was the time in spring of 2026 when everywhere there was flooding in Wisconsin.) Thank goodness I had put in that hydro-powered back-up. . If I hadn't had the back-up, my entire basement would have been ruined! Even though I could have gone days with out adding a new primary pump, Don was there the next day! Now we are discussing replacing a toilet upstairs and installing a new bathroom in the basement. The quotes so far sound like something I could do. The carefully cut through tile, removed and saved what they could, and ultimately got the tub installed. After talking to 3 other local contractors who didn't want the job, They drove an hour to my house and fixed the issue in hours. They were: 1.) Professional 2.) Knew exactly what to do 3.) Cleaned up a VERY messy project before leaving 4.) Very focused on getting it done...no wasted time at all. Their team completed the renovation in one day. Recently, the floor pan began to fail. It started to flex and creak as we moved within the shower. I contacted Re-Bath of Green Bay and they sent out a representative to evaluate the issue. I received a call from Kelsey at the Green Bay office and she said she would contact Corporate to see what if anything could be done. Imagine my surprise when Kelsey reported Corporate agreed to replace the entire shower. Since the wall panels rested on the floor pan, they had to be removed also. Kelsey said she ordered the material and would schedule the installation when it arrived. She coordinated the project from start to finish. In football parlance, Kelsey took the ball and ran with it. The project was just completed, once again in one day, and our home was left as clean as when they arrived. This could have been a frustrating experience. Instead, Re-Bath of Green Bay and Re-Bath Corporate stood behind their product. Integrity is a term that comes to mind when I think of how they responded. We couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. If you are considering a bathroom upgrade, I recommend you look to Re-Bath of Green Bay.

I hired Al to lay our ceramic floor. He did a lousy job and added charges that were bogus. He…read morequoted $2579 with $1000 being to remove the old floor. We removed the old floor ourself to save money. He padded the bill and charged us $2630, more than his original quote and we took out the old floor. He came and layef the floor and after the fact raised the price per square foot. Here is what he did: He charged us for 274 square feet, he layec 195 12x12 tiles. I only bought 240 and there were 45 left so I have no idea where he came up with 274. He changed the amount from $5 a square foot to $7 a square foot after the work was done. He said there was a pattern, there was no pattern. The tiles had different shades but not a pattern. Even another installer said this. He padded the bill in every area. He did a terrible job with the grout causing sharp edges in many areas and making it impossible to walk on it barefoot. He charged us more for supplies than the receipts showed. He did not put an underlayment down under the floor and after only three weeks the grout is cracking! He also has areas of the floor where the tiles are not spaced correctly. Overall he did a lousy job laying the floor and Overcharged us by over $1000. DO NOT HIRE HIM.
