They had lots of really lovely so I'm driving an hour to go back there again tomorrow to look for Christmas pressies. From vintage phones to tape dispensers that look like cassette tapes, there is quite a randomness to this place, but that makes it fun to browse. They have these incredible framed pieces that have the shape of a character/object in a book silhouetted, but instead of the silhouette being filled with black it is filled with the book's text. If you're into book posters, they also had over 10 classic novel cover posters which were quite awesome. They even had vintage and novelty thermoses and ice cube trays that formed the shape of boomboxes. They carry a few "Fred" items, which if you know the brand, are extremely fun and I'm always glad to see them in stores. St. Audrey's is a close walk from Henley's town center, so walk on over to Duke Street and have a look around!

They have recently started stocking a great jewellery range which is very reasonably priced, and gorgeous, so you can buy a beautiful necklace, matching bracelet and earrings for about £25, which I think is a bargain. They stock all sorts of other things too, such as greetings cards, gift wrap, belgian chocolates (yummy!), homewares, toys, socks, novelty gifts, the list is endless, and they change the stock regularly so you don't get too bored from week to week. The Christmas decations they get in are to die for, and usually end up ridiculously cheap in the january sales. Top quality items, at good prices, what more could you ask for? The staff are very friendly, if a little bit easily distracted, and have always been happy to spend a long time helping me try on necklaces and giving their opinions. They never seem to get fed up with me changing my mind a billion times about which one I want either, which is really nice.

They stock mainly furnishing fabrics but also fleece, net and felt. And they have a couple of sidelines such as card making/scrap-book making supplies, beads and cutting foam to size. So the fabrics are good but the the service is amazing. I went in thinking about making a blind for a window. They had some material i liked but I only had the measurements for the actual window not for the amount of cloth I'd need. The guy there worked out how much I'd need, told me what else I'd need (tape, struts, cord, lining material) provided it, gave me some written instructions and when he discovered I'd never made a blind before pulled out from under the counter a plain blind for me to borrow so I could see what I was aiming out at, because, as he quite rightly said "it is sometimes hard to work out things out from written instructions". I've bought other things in this shop and the staff are always more than helpful. They really know their stuff and are very willing to share their expertise with you.
