They have a decent variety for the scarves, sweaters, and jackets, and they had accessories galore. Lots of horcruxes and wands on display and for sale. They even had Slughorn's hourglass and Gryffindor's sword! The mirror on the wall is between a narrow hallway where some Harry Potter stuff are displayed and a wall on the left, so it's very cramped in that area. This is one of my two complaints. The other complaint is that the employees there are so down-on-the-dumps or have that "ok let's get this day over with" attitude. They were helpful in that they helped me view and get everything I asked for, but they were so monotonous and dull that it's like they've never been delighted in their lives before. Two more things before I end this.. I have to talk about the University of Oxford gear and British souvenirs. The other half of this store had University of Oxford gear and accessories on sale as well. There's a good variety of ties, jackets, sweaters, etc. on sale. In the middle of the store, there are typical British souvenirs you see in London. The red bus, red telephone booth, British cookies, tea bags, bookmarks, magnets, etc. This section was alright as far as variety went.

Maybe it's just a UK thing, but if you want tourist money, make them feel welcomed!

The place was crowded with tourists (Surprise, surprise) but it doesn't matter. The staff were helpful and proactive at cutting the line down. After much deliberation, I ended up picking some Butter Fudge up just for the beautiful silver and blue tin. I can't wait to drop back in to collect more darling tins, foreign candies and souveneirs for home.

All of the standard favorites: humbugs, sherbet dips, chocolate-covered everything, fruit-shaped everything...you get the idea. But imagine my absolute surprise when I spied a shelf stocked with American candy, cereals, and snacks...including my favorite: Cheetos. Not even 48 hour prior, I was telling my husband that I would go to obscene lengths to have a bag of Cheetos, so strong was my craving for the vile snack food. Little did I know that all I needed to do was go to Oxford and visit Hardy's. Sorted! Now excuse me while I go wash the orange from my fingers...

They have a great selection and you don't have the mass produced cards you find in chain card shops! I find the cards reasonably priced, especially as it's a city centre shop. I've never failed to find the right card in here, and always look here before trying anywhere else when buying cards in Oxford. They also have an interesting selection of books, again theses choices are well thought out and reasonable prices. The staff are also very nice in here and don't seem to mind my little charges trashing the shop when we go in!!

If you follow the signs you'll find it - but you won't just wander in because of the window display because it doesn't have any windows. Which is a shame because it is in a prime position right in the centre of the shopping district. If you do make the effort you'll find one of the largest ranges of Fair Trade goods to be found in Oxford. There are clothes and nick nacks (knic-knacks ?), baby clothes, toys, jewelery, cards, wool so you can knit your own fair trade garment (as long as you pay yourself a fair wage I suppose). You can also find help and support here if you want to set up your own fair trade stall at a school fete or church meeting or work place. They will let you have some of the food on a sale or return basis - which is such a great resource to have.

Liberty in London (Wild of Heart) unprofessionally "forgot" to deliver the order and I didn't find out until 11.00am on the day delivery was due. After a hurried Google search, I called Matthew at Fabulous Flowers, and the most beautiful, contemporary bouquet was delivered to my daughter by Fabulous Flowers within an hour or so. Very professional and efficient. Will definitely use this florist again & have already recommended them to family.

There were 6 white roses and a couple of other beautiful white flowers. But the bunch was quite small for £40 and so I went to another florist to buy more white roses to make it more gift worthy! The actual roses are beautiful and when they open up are quite large and I definitely would shop here again. I think it is helpful to be present as they are made up. Beautiful flowers, good service, but a little expensive.
