I've been going to the YMCA in Moline my entire life until COVID. Seeking out an available gym,…read moreultimate was the first to pop up online and the first day I went I never looked back. Incredible group of people that run the 2 locations (downtown RI, Utica Ridge Bettendorf) Who are very friendly and eager to help you or make a delicious smoothie from their smoothie bar for you. Both facilities have everything you could want for an excellent workout and are cleaned very frequently and efficiently. All of this for a beyond reasonable price has made me never look back. Definitely recommend checking them out!

gym is pretty decrepid, unmaintained, and fairly gross/unclean…read more Equipment (4/5 in "effort" but 2/5 in reality): While they have a decent variety equipment, the vast majority of all the equipment is partially malfunctioning or broken (list provided below). - Nearly every incline-adjustable bench is slanted to a side and are cheap versions and are unable to support heavier weights safely. - 2 sets of cables, none of the cables have equal resistance and are rickety. - strength ewuipment like belt squat are cheap versions that do not have the proper motion. - nearly all padding is tore up and the preacher bench has such old padding it feels gross to touch - awful rubber dumbells mixed with badly maintained iron dumbells - majority of plate loaded equipment is has alot of rust and not maintained - cardio equipment is decent though. Layout and Space (2/5) The layout appears to be an attempt to be a fun and different gym with each room (place used to be a racketball court), but it fails as it feels cheaply and lazily done. How the equipment is spread out makes super-setting very difficult. A scavenger hunt is needed to find plates, cable attachments, and clips. Floors are really gross and appear to rarely be cleaned, while there is what seems like a forever broken hottub in the locker room the owners seem to not care to replace or remove to spruce up the feel from decrepid to decent. 1 male bathroom has a gerry-rigged stall and 1 urinal, but gross and there is never soap or paper towels. Atmosphere (1/5): The gym doesn't foster any Atmosphere. If you go hard and push yourself, you will get shunned and many patrons are there simply to get a "feel-good" workout as there is not intensity or focus. The issues with the equipment and layout make it difficult to push yourself here. The atmosphere is also abit gross with the clientele that go. Hours: 24/7 with a phone operated entry is a positive. For any serious or semi-serious fitness or weightlifter, it's not the go-to gym. Hours and location are convenient but that is about it.

It was early in the day, and the staff let us just look around and it was really huge and clean and they had just a ton of options as far as a gym or sports complex goes. Really very cool and glad we stopped in.

My daughter did not pre-schedule…read moreanything, but we were able to walk in on a Sunday and reserve a lane for four kids and two adults to play a round of bowling. I like that the technology is modern enough to bring the bumpers up when you vindicated that is needed for that child as well as they have assist to roll the ball down the lane. We did notice some inconsistencies with the scoring as the unit that would drop down to pick up the pens, wood in advertently knock them over so the scoring was a little off. On weekends, it is five dollars per person per game. Service was good, the food was meh as we just had pizza, and I found it quite greasy and already not agreeing with me. The beer was cold though, and a Michelob ultra draught was $4.50, which we find pretty reasonable compared to what we pay at home It is super loud in the arcade area and you need to get through that before you get back to the bowling alley, we found the sound levels in the bowling alley just fine. I'm not sure. I could spend an entire day here though, lol. There were a ton of people here Playing in Ball leagues and such. Pretty active place and it looks like they do pretty well.

Just went to Barre 563 for the first time this week! Was back in Iowa visiting family for the…read moreholidays and was thrilled to see we have our first barre studio! The studio is small a small mirrored room with ballet barres on all walls. It is clean and organized, and there is upbeat music playing throughout. It probably fits about ~20 students. They offer several classes a day. I've only taken the barre amped so far - which is a pretty typical barre class. We started with a series of arm exercises (small movements, light weights), moved into thighs/glutes at the barre and then moved to the floor for abs (planks, high curl etc.). At $15 a class, it is reasonable for barre. In LA and Chicago, I've seen barre cost $25 a class. The class flowed well and Sarah strikes a nice balance between instruction and encouragement. Looking forward to trying the barre amped bootcamp!

I am a muscular, in shape woman & my body still convulsizes during the exercises in class. If you want long, lean, toned body this workout is for you. Membership is a little pricey due to the small classes & individualized attention from the instructors however I think it's in line with or cheaper than Barre classes in other markets. Plus, she often runs email deals & promos. The instructors really pay attention to your form & posture offering little modifications & corrections. My only compliant is there is not water fountain to fill up from. Refill your reusable water bottle before you get here because it won't fit under the sink faucet in the bathroom. Overall, a fun workout that compliments my more traditional strength & cardio program.

It's packed with a lot of equipment including plenty of cardio machines, lots of free weights, and a generous amount of Precor cable machines. All the machines looked to be in good repair. The only piece of equipment I wished they would have would be a cable back extension machine. No biggie though... I used the 45 degree Roman Chair and a weight plate and was able to imitate the same back exercise as effectively. The facility is very clean and the bathrooms comfortable. Some kind person before me left a tiny bottle of body wash - something I often do for the next guy. Just a side note - about half the gyms have body wash dispensers - a real plus - but I don't always expect it. If you are looking at Anytime Fitness, you'll get a lot of bang for the buck. This facility is definitely one that I would be happy to have as a "home base" and look forward to visiting again while passing through the area. Great job folks!

Lots of weights, enhancement fee is very fair, only $20 (more gyms should be like that). Now the downsides (not many): don't ever come at 5!! Too many people, too small of a space, also there are NO locker rooms, only 2 coed, single person bathrooms w/ showe, toilet, sink. Come at 5pm in need of shower or toilet and you're not going to be happy, also not much for cables if you're into that, cables they do have or either busy or not accessible (pull up bar right in the middle of cables). All in all it's a fantastic gym, and I am very happy with it.
