Gorgeous gardens at the outskirts of campus with many paved, winding trails to choose from. To the right, there is a kid-friendly path with some special areas to play and if you choose the left trail, you will walk by the big greenhouse. There are statues, fountains, and benches throughout and they even host small events here. There are an abundance of flowers and trees to enjoy and it seems much further from the hustle and bustle of city life than it actually is. Easy parking in a free lot next to the gardens and some open green space where people are frequently reading on a blanket or playing frisbee. Only porto potties available, as an FYI.

Great peaceful spot. Nice stroll ever changing. East parking and good place to read !

The gardens attached to the university were quite beautifully manicured (with the exception of some oddly scummy water exhibits at the entrance). They get a good variety of plant life into a modest space, as well as a picnic area and playground. The gardens don't reach the riverbank, and a road goes by, which is good for drivers but a loss for walkers. The gardens do adjoin multiple greenway trails for those interested in seeing more.

Perfect morning to enjoy the beautiful gardens. While meandering through the gardens I enjoyed the peaceful beauty of nature, art and the laughter of children playing about. I also got a chance to hear a few presentations sponsored by UT Extension, TN Smartyards and others.

Beautiful Gardens on UT campus. Well maintained, great walk surrounded by nature. Fragrant and well laid out.

Beautiful outdoor area, my favorite was the rose garden. Plenty of parking (it's attached to the local university) and it's free!

Our family loves to play and discover at UT Gardens! It is easy to get to right of of Neyland Dr with parking spots available behind the vet school. There is always something new to see and the boys love running up and down the little hills and watering the flowers in children's garden. The koi ponds and the new monarch garden with the butterfly bench is also on the top of their must visit list very time we go. All the staff and volunteers have always been so kind to the boys as they run and play, often taking time to talk to them and tell them about a new plant or an animal/insect they have seen in the garden.

Great place for a walk after a long day of work and a great view of the life flight chopper.

These gardens are beautiful. Great walking trails to see many different garden scapes. Everything was just starting to bloom. Lots of places to sit and just listen to the birds and look at the beautiful surroundings. Also offers tables for picnicking. Several families were there walking with their children and riding bikes. Ample parking right outside the entrance. Great signage if you want to use this park for homeschooling purposes as well. Highly recommend.

Very peaceful, rejuvenating, and fragrant. I went at dusk so perhaps it is more crowded at other times, but nevertheless, I'm glad I checked this place out. It's not huge but well-worth visiting if you have an hour or two for garden exploration at a leisurely pace. Fun spot for photography too.

SERENITY Farmers market here during the summer months. Year round, special trees. Flowers galore during growing season. Engaging new children's area now being built, plus giant specimens of seemingly endless species of flora . . . sculptures galore . . . can't believe I've never really walked around in it!

This garden is absolutely delightful. Lovely, colorful displays of flowers and shrubs in gracefully designed arcs with well-maintained walkways and plenty of seating.

I can't believe I have not yet reviewed these stunning gardens! I absolutely love this place! The gardens here are very clean and so beautiful! There are walking paths and plenty of beautiful flowers to look at along the way. You'll see gorgeous displays, water features, and sculptures. This place is truly an oasis in the city of Knoxville!!! The labyrinth is beautiful hidden gem. It's not uncommon to find people here on photo shoots or artists set up with canvases. And the best part? The gardens are open during all seasons and are free to the public. Parking is also free! What?! I know..it's unheard of. Make sure you check their website. They offer tons of classes and tips and hosts all kinds of events that are available to the public.

My favorite part of the gardens was the fragrant rose garden, where many visitors stopped to smell the roses.

Night and day difference between this morning and the other day…read more Could very well have been the result of a call to North Carolina DMV Customer Service hotline. People there could not have been more friendly or helpful in responding to the concerns expressed in my previous review, especially those related to my wife. First, they sought out and found a cancellation for today at the same office and booked me first thing today. Second, they took down my complaint and promised an appropriate follow response up which came but a short time later. Indeed, the supervisor of the day for the lady mentioned below called me directly. And when we did not connect, she called me again today. Impressive. Perhaps word had already passed on to the Brevard office because the lady was so different today, not just with me but with the score or more of folks present inside and out. Dare I say, friendly, helpful, thoughtful. When I met with her to turn in my CA license for a NC license, she was patient, personable, professional. Particularly patient because I am new to the state and don't know all the highway signs as I should Took more than the 20 minutes she had predicted. But she worked through it and was kind, considerate throughout. Can only hope that this much more preferable sort of approach to customer service will become the benchmark for this office. It works!
