Initially I was in doubt, thinking that there is no way a USPS is open until 22:00 or on both Saturdays and Sundays but I really needed to mail my shipment on time so I drove here to check it out. As I arrived, I realized that the rumors are true! They are not only open until 22:00 and are open on weekends as well. I'd especially like to recommend Gregory, who was the friendly, efficient and accommodating USPS agent who helped me out. It is rare to see someone who is optimistic, efficient and happy when working this late. Bravo, Greg! Because of the Greg, friendly and efficient staff members, plus the convenient opening hours including evening and weekends, I will definitely be coming back to this particular USPS in the future even if I had to drive much further. The phone number doesn't work, and the location is closed during the hours I am off. Inconvenient is an understatement and truly unprofessional. I ran into a mail courier who was dropping mail off at my neighbors and asked for an update, her response, "yea, I've heard we're the worst for setting up mailboxes and delivering mail, let me call my supervisor" nothing came of it and it frustrated me more because I cannot receive my mail! The front desk is not friendly at this location and gave attitude to the customers before me and to myself. No stars would be more acceptable.

NO I dropped a self-addressed pre-paid envelope in one of the mailboxes in the parking lot. (There are three.) That envelope, containing an endorsed check, took 10 days to be delivered to its destination near UTSA. My New Year's resolution: do not put your trust in this branch of the USPS. I glanced at the hours & confirmed they are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. I'll need to check Saturdays the next time I come back & will attach a photo. They do have a parcel drop bin for those who pay online & print their label at home. However, it was marked as out of order & informs customers to leave pre-paid parcels at the retail counter. There was only one gentleman at the counter when I entered right at 8 & the nice employee informed me I could just leave my box on the counter & she would collect it. I've used drop bins in the past or left parcels on the counter at other locations & it took FOREVER to get scanned in. (COUGH COUGH - I'm talking about the USPS kiosk/tiny office at the very back of the Atascocita Ace Hardware!!!). The particular parcel I dropped off at THIS office was scanned in within a half hour!

She completely ignored me and walked away to the back of the store to do something. (The rules are: Wait to be called! oops!) Another time, I saw a corner of my parcel that needed a small bit of tape for mailing. I asked her for some tape and she said they didn't keep any tape there. Of course, that was a LIE. There is NO way a post office, even a small one, would not have tape. Do they think I'm stupid? At the regular post offices, they always give you tape when needed. Sometimes they will better secure your package w/o your even asking. Another time, I saw a big roll of tape laying on an adjacent counter and assumed I could use it. The man behind the other counter heard me (could not see me) using the tape and bellowed: If you're going to use that tape, you'd better be sending it priority (or something like that)! I have never been yelled at at any post office in my 76 years! His lack of customer service skills is appalling. Did they just hire him off the street?? The convenience of having this so-called post office is not worth it. They are not professional. It's just better to go to a full-service post office where you are treated with respect. This is truly a skeleton outfit that no longer provides any conveniences. You could hardly call this a job! What are they getting paid for?

Pro: they have a parcel drop drawer that wasn't full and it's one of the few locations around…read moredowntown that 1) even has a parcel lock drawer and 2) has 24/7 lobby access. It's also the only post office I've ever been to with package pickup lockers. Con: they did not complete an origin scan and the package moved between 2 post offices before it had an in chain of custody scan status. As a marketplace seller this directly impacts our late shipment metric as to the system it looks like it was dropped off late even though I understand what happened because the zip code under this scan was not the zip code of this post office. Again the seller systems don't have any way of knowing this so we still get dinged for it.

Extremely disappointed with the service at this post office…read more We drove 40 minutes after confirming online that Thursday had walk-in passport hours from 3 to 4 p.m. When we arrived exactly at 3:00, we were told the clerk who would be helping us was on lunch and wouldn't be back until 3:30 p.m., which made no sense considering that's when walk-ins were supposed to begin at 3:00pm When we were finally helped by TYLER, his attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming from the start. Every chance he got to send us away, he took, rather than helping us resolve small, simple issues on the spot. He acted inconvenienced as if he just didn't want to help. I also watched two families get turned away, even though they arrived during the posted time slot. It genuinely felt like he didn't want to assist anyone. He was dismissive, rude, and condescending. The whole experience made me feel completely uncomfortable and unwelcome. I've never had such a horrible customer service experience. It's not just Tyler's behavior that's concerning. It's also a management issue for assigning someone clearly unfit to represent USPS, especially in the role of a passport acceptance agent.

There was a lady returning multiple items and she was okay with me being helped first since she knew she was taking a while. Tia said "Nah the notary is going to take a minute" and helping the other lady was 15 mins plus. I know a simple letter notary does not take a while as I am a notary as well. If she does not like working with customers maybe she should find a job where it is not customer based. The lady in front got out of the way because she knew she was taking a long time and a line was forming. Tia processed to state she was unable to log into her notary to notarize my simple document. Update I was able to come to the location on Broadway and the staff were so helpful and the system worked just fine. I was in and out in 3 minutes. Tia do better or get a job where you are happy!
