A step back in time... This is an old-school post office in many ways: location, design, service…read more It's near the heart of downtown Marysville. Probably built in the '40s, it has a classic design. Interior details look original: PO boxes, the entryway, a big mural. The counter is small, and service is, well, slow and personal. Expect a wait, explain what you need, and get greeted like a neighbor (of course, almost everyone here is a regular, so...) They have the usual supplies, if needed. Parking is a little odd: come in off 4th Ave., along the back by the trucks. Then you can only exit to the right on Main.

He Left the job site and fought through marysville traffic and still was 5 min late! The guy pretty much said sorry you are late!! He also proceeded to tell him ..,"I don't care if you were 1 min late" you have to reschedule! I get being on time to appts but no grace at all!! I also would feel it would be way more understandable if the post office was slammed and busy, however it wasn't busy and no one else was waiting for an appt time or in line!! The Appts take 15 min really!! He also told my son you have paperwork to fill out etc and it takes time, however my son told him that he already had all of his paperwork completed ahead of time and the guy still didn't care! "Power trip" I guess!!! This is just Absolutely ridiculous, so unsympathetic and lacks compassion and customer service!! It's extremely hard for a full time working person to try and get a passport, let alone deal with an unsympathetic rude person! I guess maybe the world has treated him that way that he's giving it back! Incredibly sad! Marysville needs to do better!! This towns government representatives are not giving welcoming vibes! I have not experienced this in other Ohio small town post offices, nor out of state! Way to represent Marysville all these bad reviews are definitely standing out!! The post office is a beautiful historic building but that's about it.

The male took my application and right away noticed that I have written my driver license number in the section under the line which is for the signatures. I didn't sign anything just my driver license number which I am suppose to have there anyway. He could've verified and move on but he preferred to be entertained on my expense and kept "what do they say here, can you read..." bs like this. I am a person with impaired vision, blind without my glasses. Took me long time to fill this application the day before and one thing I do not understand, whose idea was to have the drivers license info in the same section where the signatures are. It makes zero sense to me. You enter all this other personal info including SSN in "normal sections", but somehow the driver license it in the section designated for the signatures. I told I don't see what he problem is you can compare and see the numbers are the same, then I will sign right in front of you. This was not satisfying to him. My wife tried to interfere and suggested filling another application but she was told to stay away "We got it". He preferred to continue the humiliation of the disabled person. No willingness to resolve the situation. Ernest, I hope some day you and your family are treated the same way you treated me and my family today.

This Post Office is tucked off to the side on Orange Road near 23, and I actually missed it the first time I went, expecting a much larger and imposing building. There is ample parking space and a turn-around, which makes it easy to deposit mail into 3 different mailboxes and for folks to exit while others enter. Despite being small, this Post Office is always busy and traffic entering and exiting the narrow driveway can get a bit dicey at times. Despite the compact size and entryway, the customer service at this location earns it top marks. I was actually taken aback by level of friendliness and courtesy by all workers at this location. I've never had a bad experience and although always quite busy, the line moves quickly. Surly government workers at other locations should visit and get a little inspiration and some best practices.

Last year I had Amazon cancel an order only to find out three months later it was sitting in Plain City post office. The lazy imbeciles couldn't even be bothered to receive the parcel. Sender has confirmed both have been sent and USPS for some reason has the largest ego and can't admit to the fault that they messed up. Received half of my $500 order shoved into my mailbox and when I attempted to receive my delivery, it proceeded to rip coming out of the mailbox because it was like shoving an elephant into your pocket. Absolutely unbelievable, I then call the local post office that took over from UPS for some reason and they deliberately turned their phones off an hour and a half before they close. I now have a missing $250 that no one seems to give a hoot about and on top of that, I tried to call the national hotline for customer service and the lady decided that I was the worst human being on the planet and gave me more attitude than a 9 year old. This is the worst postal service in the world and I am so glad you all are going out of business. Hope you never find another job with how lazy you people are.
