Completely and utterly rude and useless. I havent received mail since i put my forwarding order 3 months ago. I have called and told them and they stated they have no such order even though my mail carrier in my previous city told me they forwarded plenty of mail to my new address. Was supposed to receive a call back never heard from them. I finally receive one piece of mail and there is a note written on the envelope. Does this person stay here...? put name on box. Ok..so where is the rest of my mail? And i cant put my name on the box just yet.. so that means i dont get my mail? Thats pretty much what the incompetent woman on the phone told me when i called to verify that yes i do live here. Useless. Need new employees who can do their job! read more

I would rate this post office lower if it were possible. Each and every one of them is rude, disrespectful and if you're not a quick in and out they have a complete disregard for everyone. After many, many weeks of getting the run around, almost daily phone calls and many complaints, and maybe them realizing that I just wasn't going away, I was finally able to resolve my issues that weren't my fault to begin with. It simply shouldn't take months to get a mail issue worked out and to get my bills in the mail. I've never had a pleasant experience here.. read more

I have never dealt with such unprofessional employees before. When I have tried calling to get an answer as to when the drop box in the 153rd location in Orland would be repaired, I get a song and a dance. I have been told the box needed to be outsourced to be repaired, when I talked to the postmaster she told me she was new and that was on her list of things to address. I called again today (almost 4 months after the new postmaster told me it was on her list to take care of) IT IS STILL NOT REPAIRED! They get upset when I ask if they can tell me when it might be fixed. Where are we supposed to drop off packages if the box is broken?? How is it that a hole in the wall that we drop our packages through be broken in the first place to require a year of it being out of order? What can the residents do to get this fixed once and for all?? By far the worst post office cook county! read more

Worst service ever. I've had a package from overseas coming through USPS that was in customs for awhile, after it passed USPS failed to give me an estimated delivery date so I could expect it. Anyways, I missed the package delivery and went online to reschedule delivery which never ended up coming. Finally got ahold of the PO by phone and she said they forgot to put it out for delivery but she'll make sure someone picks it up to deliver to me as I needed this package for an occasion (today). Of course they never ended up delivering my package despite scheduling for it to be delivered and being told it would be here by 5pm. Unprofessional, lazy and I wouldn't be surprised if my package gets 'lost' now due to their failure of delivering it. USPS needs to just go out of business because they are the WORST. read more

The worst! I get misdelivered mail every week. Twice in the past 3 months I've had packages with a tracking number go missing (but have received other mail on the alleged delivery day). I don't know if it's a sorting issue or carrier issue, but if I'm constantly getting mail for people on other streets/house numbers, where is my mail going?!? Horrible service! read more

The service here is terrible. The line is out the door and despite having all these service stations...there is one person working. No wonder why the USPS is losing business. If you can...use another post ogfice read more

I wish people at the front desk knew how to treat customers like human beings...

There's one clerk ,I don't recall her name .she was African American with her hair in a bun.SO RUDE.talks to you like you're dumb . The second clerk that helped me was very sweet tho read more

no mail pick up or del next door got theirs i was told mail was coming stil waiting again

I am going through the death of my brother yesterday and the guy behind the counter was so rude to me I almost went off on him. He didn't like that I had to many packages for him to read "it's to time consuming" as there is no one in line. I understand people have bad days but no need to be a jerk to everyone. Get a different job if you have no courtesy. read more

I received extremely rude, unfriendly, and slow service on a Tuesday afternoon just to ask about stamps I wanted for baby shower invitations. The clerk was the worst and he absolutely did not help me. I went to the branch on 151st Street and LaGrange Road where I was politely greeted and helped immediately. I was given a few stamp choices and purchased my stamps there. I will NEVER go back to this branch! read more

Never did I ever think I would leave a review for a post office! Something has definitely changed in the past couple of years here. The workers at the counter literally care about nothing...no smile..no hello, good afternoon, they argue about everything you say and clearly hate working here! It starts at the top, management obviously finds all of this acceptable no doubt! Will avoid this location at all cost! read more

The Orland Park, IL. post office has been terrible for the last four months. Mail doesn't get delivered until after 6:00 PM most days. Last Friday, 11/30/2018, no mail was delivered but it was delivered the next day at 7:30 AM. Then at 1:00 PM, we received that days mail. This is the worst mail delivery service I have ever received. No wonder the Post Office is in debt every year. I get email notifications daily on what should be delivered but what good is the if it comes after hours. read more

The Orland Park post office is the worst. For 30 years in the village we consistantly get mail with coupons after the coupons expire. Years ago I brought a pile to show them and they could not have cared less. Now we have a carrier that delivers on the north and south side of our block early afternoon and then somehow our mail is deleivered at 6:40pm have day. The lobby staff in both locations are rude and unhelpful. I do all my business at the Tinley Park posy office read more

This will be the 3rd time I am addressing this issue. Yesterday, Monday, November 5, I did not have mail pick up, nor did I receive any mail. The last time, the carrier pushed my pick up mail to the back to deliver my new mail. Yesterday, I received neither. After conferring with several of my neighbors, it became evident that they did not receive any mail service either. After delivering my posts in person and asking to speak to a manager, waiting 10 minutes, one of the clerks finally said that I would probably not get to speak to a manager. After explaining to her the issues, she said: "Well, we didn't have a lot of mail yesterday, it came in late and the mail carriers we already on route". My question is, if there is no mail to be delivered, why wasn't any mail picked up in my entire subdivision? I always put my mail in the box the night prior to pick up. So, my mail sat in the box from Sun night until Tues morning when I hand delivered it to the post office. I will not be happy if my bills are not posted on time. I am not sure companies will be sympathetic not will they believe is was the postal service's failure to pick up mail on a scheduled date. This is not acceptable. One thing we could always count on was our mail delivery. I am beginning to feel that our postal service needs some serious updating and more dependable carriers! read more

Rudest people I ever met! As for help from the Postmaster, (who spelled her name when I asked for it) "Hankins" refused to check my mailbox for unforwarded mail. She keeps making generic excuses for my mail sitting in the box regardless of it having a forwarding tag on it. This is the 4th time I have asked for this correction. What am I paying for? read more

Ridiculous! The post office is now charging us for tape to seal a package. They will be charging the price of a whole roll of tape to seal up a package. Ridiculous merry Christmas read more

The service (or better, lack of) is a joke! I got a sticker on my door for a package that was not restricted delivery, required no signature, but for some reason the carrier decided not to leave. This was on September 10. Almost 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for the package! No one answers the phone after ringing for over 3 minutes. Totally incompetent staff working for this office! read more

Ah, yet another business in a fast crash n burn because of unprofessional, crass employees. It was a Saturday and I was paying for postage on a letter with a $20 bill....oh my, you'd think I was asking for a kidney! Two women at the desk. Woman #1: "Yeah well we can't break a 20", with not one apologetic note in her voice. In the meantime her co-worker, Woman #2 chimed in, chomping on candy and swiping back and forth on her phone: "yeah supervisors not here, and all the change is locked up." I tried to make light of it by making a joke (stalling for time because I would have to run back to my car), not a crack of a smile, not a sorry, not a thank you. Rude, unfriendly, insensitive, thick, mindless, impolite, discourteous, curt, monosyllabic, callous. I will never use this "post office" again. Please just close this place down already! Or hire people who want to work with human beings. It's really a shame, more of my taxes going to paying pensions of "employees" who don't do their jobs. read more

How do you mess up your signature on someone's passport application let alone two of them????? I waited 4 weeks for my kids passports only to find out the lady stamped and signed her name wrong (not even sure how this is possible). Now I have to go back there to see if they can get it together and get it right the 2nd time around. I am FURIOUS!!!! read more

Typical government employees. Expect the absolute minimum amount of effort if you need help with anything.

Avoid this post office at all costs! Send to the persons work, relative or anywhere but an addy that goes through this post office. 2 shipments. First had out for delivery on tracking for a week before finally getting delivered. Very nice box I just sent has delivered last wed on the tracking. Left at box. Called. They have it. Misscanned apparently. This spot really needs inspected. read more

Missing a package for 19 (!) days. Called twice, talked to the same person twice. Told "We have THOUSANDS of packages not yet logged in (!) That was on Wednesday, 11/25. STILL have not received it as of today's mail. HOW many packages are there now? Also, I'm told that stamped, outgoing mail in my mailbox is a "courtesy" and the mail carrier's discretion! HUH????? What's the "flag" on my box for? Also, carrier skipped our house because the door was open and he doesn't like our dog. Even though my husband was working on the lawn mower in the driveway. "Hey? No mail today?" "Oh, sorry, your dogs bark." Um, ok. Hand it to my husband? Also, put an express package in the outside blue express box at the post office, it was not logged in as being accepted for four days, though I was told each day that they open that box every day. Must have been in the "thousands" of packages waiting to be logged out. USPS: This is WHY you're in financial trouble! read more
