Since moving to Martinsburg, WV I have not received a number of pieces of mail. I have informed delivery so I know what I am to receive. Back home when I saw what I was suppose to get, I got it. Here I am lucky if I get my mail. Pieces with my name and my daughter's name are out there somewhere. Our letter carrier even wrote on a note I left her in regards to where a piece was, she said " because it is presort it is considered "junk"." Well this junk has my daughter's name on it and should be delivered to her regardless of whether it is junk or not. And sending mail to other places is a crap shoot. Important mail to Social Security and the Tax Office in Martinsburg never made it to them. I followed up to make sure. Where is our mail going to, a black hole? Worse mail delivery ever. read more

Worst Post Office ever!! First they never answer the phone. Then if you mail anything when it actually does leave the post office it takes several days for it to be delivered to just the next state. They put notices of pick up in my mailbox yet they have my address. They seem to do that only when they are too lazy to actually drop a package at my front door. They also put my mail in other people's mailbox. They are the most incompetent people ever!! read more

This place is a hot mess! Mailed a $200 bag and it never left the PO for 11 days!! I was given a half-a$$ed excuse that the man on night duty hasn't been scanning packages! Well, fire him!! I was then handed a stack of papers to file a lost mail claim online!!! Yeah, that didn't help!! You're a government agency! I came here to notarize a financial document and to return some Amazon items. Easiest return ever. I didn't have them in boxes but I printed each return from Amazon and stapled it to the plastic around the product. They took care of boxing and shipping free. On the notary, the young lady was super fast, friendly and efficient. It was $10 for one page. I was in and out in less than ten minutes. read more

I would give a zero I mailed a package using priority mail to Colorado Spring, Co the package never left the Harrisburg facility, I took my postage receipt in and the supervisor on duty had a clerk hand me a tracking statement to go online to complete and their website was continually spinning or unavailable impossible to access they owe me 100$ for insurance very unacceptable read more

I would give them zero stars if I could! My package went from Martinsburg WV which is 25 minutes from me back to Harrisburg PA, who do they have working at this place? This happens all the damn time, package hits Martinsburg and is sent back to where ever it just came from. These people need fired and get someone in there that is going to do their job! read more

The USPS has got to be the most incompetent organization in the world. I recently moved and changed my address online. They charged me $1.10 and sent me a confirmation email. No mail. A month later I repeated the change of address online. They charged me $1.10 and sent a confirmation email. Still no mail. I went to the local post office. They had no idea why my change of addresses requests were being ignored. They had me fill out another form, (in person), and turn that in. Still no mail. I emailed the USPS customer service. They said my change of address did not process because I had "backdated" the request. Sigh, just butt covering lies to blame the victim. They said I now had to go to the local post office and fill out another change of address form and date it that day. I'm now getting the occasional piece of mail with the yellow label, but where's the last five month's worth of mail? *Sigh, idiots. read more

This Post Office has been royally fracking up lately. I am not sure if they have a new delivery person, but whoever it is should be fired. I have had two packages in the last week show up as out for delivery in my package tracking notifications and never get delivered. Both are now showing as delayed delivery. One is a day late at this point and the other went clear down to a Post Office in Virginia and is several days late. What the hell? What kind of laziness and pure incompetence leads to that happening? I used to think the Post Office was better than services like UPS and FedEX because the Post Office used to be the most reliable. Tell me why when you call this post office it literally just rings and rings for nearly 30 minutes and then automatically disconnects. Packages ordered online are nearly consistently 1 to 4 days late from the initial estimated delivery date. I would say that I don't want this business to go down because of the people that work there and try to make a living, but they are all always in a bad mood anytime you show up in person. If you can avoid using this place for business, PLEASE avoid them. The three women who work the front desk seem very friendly and professional, but EVERYONE who works behind the scenes, including the "manager" Mohammad, is extremely rude and unprofessional. They constantly put other customers mail in my box, and I always have packages that did not deliver on time. I recently had a package that was marked as delivered to my box. I came to pick the package up soon after and there was no package. I approached the front desk and was told they would keep an eye out. This was in November. I keep calling customer service and they keep closing my case without solving it. I finally reach a manager who says he can not refund the item because it was marked as delivered and he cannot prove that I didn't receive it. I mentioned that I went to the desk after it was marked as delivered and how else was I supposed to prove that I didn't receive it other than come to you and tell you. He just kept saying he couldn't refund me because it was marked as delivered. Now I'm out of product and money. It wasn't a big sum of money, but I paid for a product and delivery that I didn't receive. Stay far away from this place. I forgot to mention that there is ALWAYS a long line. I've never come to this location and there not be a line going almost to the door and there's never more than 1 or 2 people at the desk. I also don't know if this is from THIS post office, but I had a check for a fairly large sum get sent to someone else's home.
