He kept telling me he would fix the situation since my sister's other children were collecting all of her SS and her middle child (my niece) hadn't got paid yet since dealing with him from March. I had to keep calling to resolve the issue, he tells me I have a phone apt again but never called me! I had to call the office and stand my ground about getting the issue fix! I had to go back in the office again and give them my paperwork again since Mr Alcala just happened to go home sick from my apt in March. Who knows what they did to my copies of the documents back in March. Horrible experience! This guy literally never did his job from back in March. It will be a year next month of my sisters passing too!

You need to bring a hard hat, closed towed shoes, and I think an orange vest. I'm not sure if they are still allowing people to toss away cardboard but this is what I did about 2 years ago. Up until my neighborhood allowed cardboard to be picked up ever 1 week versus every 2 weeks.

Love the harbor, marina, awesome beaches and its people. All the festivals and events that are offered to the community. I love that I can write, call or message my councilmember and he will respond within hours. I have been given random acts of kindness multiple times by strangers at restaurants, coffee shops or simply by walking on the street. It's that type of love that makes me so thankful to be part of Oxnard and say it loud and proud. I have lived in Spain, SB, Washington D.C. but my heart is always in Oxnard. I am so happy with all the new things coming to town from the murals to the revamping of our harbor. Oxnard has a terrible reputation but its peoples resilience is what will continue to make it such a great place to live and thrive.
