Okay, I understand this is a long review so if you don't have enough time to read the entire…read morereview, do yourself a big favor: DO NOT GO THERE!!! They will basically STEAL your money and ironically, Cricket's Customer "Care" Support doesn't give a crap! I would give them ZERO star if I could. Save yourself some headaches, you would be glad you do, trust me! Look at that retailer Facebook's page, it's a 2/4 and they have one star on Yelp. DO NOT GO THERE, DO NOT GO THERE! You've been warned and you're welcome!
1- I purchased a phone on 10-03, I also purchased a screen protector (a very expensive one might I add) and got it installed at the retailer. However, the screen protector was not properly installed - there was some bubble underneath. So I stopped by the retailer to have it fixed; A guy named D-Jay removed the mis-installed protector and put a new one that does not cover my entire phone, and I told him that screen protector does not fit my phone and therefore won't protect it; he then told me to hold on to it for now and he'll order the one that will fully cover the phone entirely and it should arrive within two days. So I asked him if I should stop by Saturday (cuz it was a Thursday) to pick it up, he said no, but took my number and said he was going to call me once the screen protector arrives.
2-Two weeks later, I haven't received any phone calls from him so I went back in the store to find out what was going on and boom! My phone drop in the parking lot... my concerns come true because my screen cracked around the surrounding areas that were not covered. D-Jay was not in the store but the sale person did call him but he was trying to blame me saying the item came but I never pick it up, so I reminded him that he took my number & said he was going to call me once the protector arrived and he never did, then he quickly backing out of his words and was saying that he doesn't know what happened cuz he ordered it but it never got delivered... I was shocked how he was switching his words within seconds and that also made me believe that he was LYING & he never actually placed the order.
I told him, my phone breaking is his fault because if if the correct screen protector was on it, it would not break after one little drop. So consequently, the retailer should repair my shattered screen and issue me a refund if they can't get me another screen protector that perfectly fit & fully protect my phone - just like the 1st one. He said that he can't and gave me a "back office" 1800-CRICKET # and told me to ask for "Zack". When I called the number, they said that they could not transfer the call to Zack. I was livid, rightfully so because clearly he was LYING to me yet AGAIN. So I filed a complaint (# I770-666-85), went back inside the store to ask him when was Zack was going to be physically there because I want to speak with him myself. He said that Zack was in a meeting, but asked for my number to call me after the meeting. The day ended and I never received the call... fast forward to a week later, still no call from Zack.
3- A month later, my phone is still shattered, the D-Jay guy HAS MY MONEY, DOESN'T ORDER the CORRECT SCREEN PROTECTOR, and REFUSES TO ISSUE ME A REFUND. So I had to call Cricket Customer Service AGAIN for to file anothercomplaint (I776-489-24) while at the store because the D-Jay refuse to give me a refund for that screen protector that I PAID FOR but NEVER RECEIVED. This is my last month with Cricket; I can't do business with a such terrible company.
** I will report Cricket/that retailer to the BBB, and leave this strongly worded review on Yelp, Facebook, Yellow Page, etc. So that other people fall into the chaos that I find myself in.
