I explored several other local practices- even NYC- but chose The Vein Institute in Fairfield. Entire staff is superb- expertise of Dr. Afshar and Cristina DiMarte PA-C, is unsurpassed. The nurses- especially Alayna, Renee, Amanda explain every procedure and any questions answered, Care is taken at every visit to assure safety and comfort. Dr. Madan promised amazing results and failed to deliver. Beside the disappointing results, the procedures cost way more than what I was quoted. Out of principal, I asked a couple of times for a $400.00 bill to be written off since I had already spent so much money and my legs look exactly the same before $6K was spent on them. I guess the answer is no because the office keeps sending me the bill, along with a "refer a friend" card and leave messages for follow up appointments. I hope I can save at least one person some money and time by letting them know my disappointing experience with Vein Clinics of America. Not worth the money or the down time from the treatment. There are other medical facilities in CT which I am going to try out. These facilities have great reviews and hopefully can deliver better results and customer service than Vein Clinic of America did.
