I recently rented a place under Chelsea and Jackie's management. Again, after reading all the reviews here and on yelp and on all other places, I have no doubt that they are great when it comes to handling house sales, but my experience with renting with them seems disappointing. We had to argue with them to get our blinds replaced(which we requested before we even moved in) and the place was not cleaned before we moved in(they said they cleaned it). We even showed pictures of dirty dishwashers, dirty carpet, and dusty blinds and still, they said they cleaned it and refused to send someone over (maybe they just hired a poor clearing agent, it not their fault if that's the case). But the worst was that they gave us 9 days notice of the rent increase have us decide asap. When I called, Chelsea said that it is MY sole responsibility and common sense to reach out to her knowing my lease is ending. It is not her responsibility to notify me of these things. She is not completely wrong, I should have been on top of my stuff. But at the same time, she works for a real estate management company, isn't that's part of her job to help her tenants out? I am new to this renting business and I definitely learned a hard lesson thru my experience with them.
