USA Insulation did a great job. Inserted foam into the walls around my whole house. The guys cleaned after themselves and put everything back as it was. They have done s great job. I recommend USA insulation to anyone ready to insulate their home. read more

Services fine until a day after installation I noticed bulging and bubbling in bathroom wall. After I sent pics, USA told me it was not their issue - that there must have been a defect in the drywall. It was obviously the foam installation that caused the problem. They would not return my calls after that. Also.....a word of caution.....pasty, chemical smell in house is worse and lasting longer than expected, even with windows open when possible. read more

In May USA Insulation applied insulation to our attic for a cost of $5500. The company had come out the week prior to perform an inspection of our home (including a visual inspection of our attic by USA Insulation team) and advise on recommendations for insulation. The insulation was sprayed into our attic and immediately afterwards we noticed a hole in our bedroom ceiling that occurred during the insulation process - this was not mentioned to us by the team while they were installing. More importantly, we immediately noticed 50% of our electrical outlets were no longer working - this occurred immediately after the insulation. We called USA Insulation immediately and were told to call our electrician. Our electrician came out and notified us the electrical system was damaged in the attic and USA insulation applied incompatible insulation to our active knob and wire tubing electrical system which created a fire hazard and needed to be re-wired. During initial consult and insulation process we were never asked about our electrical system or advised it could be incompatible with their insulation. They visually inspected the space and said there were no concerns. We then paid $15000 to re-wire the home for safety and $4200 to repair holes in wall/repaint walls for electrical work. I have outreached to the company through calls/emails 38 times from May 2024 - October 2024 with varying responses. We were initially told to re-wire the home and send USA Insulation the bill, after we did, we were told they were "sorry" and if they knew the knob and wire tubing was active they would not have applied the insulation. They said despite this they are not responsible and would not provide any type of reimbursement. Management very avoidant, difficult to speak with upper management despite numerous requests. Spoke with Karissa Hebert (office manager) - would not let me speak with anyone higher until after 32 attempts, then spoke with "Matt Smith" on 10/18/24 at 10:25AM who reportedly was so concerned about my report with our insulation issue, he stated he was going to follow-up with the USA Insulation CEO. Matt stated "we take knob and wire tubing very seriously" "if we knew it was there, we would never have put the insulation in there" "our policy is to never insulate over active knob and wire tubing." .."I have a meeting with the CEO in a few hours and I will discuss this with him today." "He is a very great guy and cares deeply about doing the right thing." "This is not our company policy." "I wish I heard about this issue sooner, I'm sorry it took so long to get to me." He called me back at 10/18/24: 11:10AM stating he immediately spoke with the CEO of the company and was concerned about the insulation process and damage caused to our home. He assured me he would "see what he could do. " I requested to speak with the "CEO" who he did not disclose their name but told me "he's a busy guy." "Matt Smith" was vague and avoidant when I asked about his role with company - would not allow me to speak with anyone higher in the company. "Matt Smith" reported that Karissa did not handle the situation correctly and did not escalate our concerns in a timely fashion to senior management despite for months telling me that "this issue is important" and repeatedly telling me over the phone "our leadership is meeting next week to discuss this" and "I'm going to follow-up with our team" - I was told this on more than 16 phone calls between May and October 2024. When I spoke with "Matt Smith" in October 2024, I was told if he knew of this issue right away he would have sent his team out immediately to remove the insulation. He reported he appreciated speaking with me and this situation will be used to change their policies, but they couldn't provide us with any type of reimbursement because they "are not at fault" and "it's an election year, we don't have the funds" even if through their own negligence. Interestingly on their social media they boast about all the money they donate and their fancy Tesla Cybertruck wrapped in USA Insulation advertisements but they can't provide any sort of reimbursement to us even though the company admitted that they installed incompatible insulation over our electrical system causing extensive damage. We also had to go 6 weeks with only being able to use 50% of our electricity related to the damage... in the summer and it wasn't safe to use our AC until the home was repaired. We are very disappointed in the way the company handled the situation and the lack of transparency, amount of outreach attempts I had to make to get any type of information. "Matt Smith" also reported he would send out a team to check our insulation after the re-wiring and add additional insulation as I reported concern that during the re-wiring process this created many holes in our ceiling causing a lot of the insulation to fall out of the ceiling. So its kind of my fault that I had issues with USA Insulation for not catching the signs. These people rush everything during the sales pitch they supposedly had a cancelation and wanted to come the next day( with the promise of a discount if they can do it the next day but i got the same quote any way)when I made my decision they had a cancelation and scheduled me for the next day, they were here on time for me to sign the financing paper work but the crew was 2 hours late because they were waiting on a truck (supposedly at the point now that i dont believe anything they say), and they wanted to get the job done so bad in one day that they had 6 guys in our house till almost 7pm and still rushed the job so much that left they left mess in my house that they particularly came back and cleaned except for the stuff they got on my newly installed epoxy floor in the garage. Now that I have lost trust in this company, I been asking for a job completion package that shows pics of what they did and have not received it 2 weeks after the job, the sales guy promise to get it to me today and nope, they only rush the parts that benifits them, BEWARE! my home is older home built in 1999 so I saw the spray foam ad for Usa Insulation on the television so I called to set up an appointment salesman. Ken came out was very knowledgeable on my home insulation. We went through everything in the savings that I would get by doing it to me it was a no-brainer, so we set up to have them come in through it. Ryan and his crew showed up on Monday 2/12 they were here at 8 AM. They they had a great system down. They had the outside of my house spray foam in one day and all put back together. They cleaned up everything and you never knew they were here they came back on 2/13 to finish we had a snowstorm the night before and into that day and they still showed up. They sealed my attic in my crawlspace above my garage and brought it up to code with the insulation. They cleaned everything up inside the house, just like they had never been here. I would highly recommend them. They were very professional polite. They did a wonderful job. The whole experience has been five star looking forward to seeing the energy savings I have in the future can tell a lot less drafts from the cold. We're having right now.
