We had a vinyl fence installed for several thousand dollars. They didn't give handles, said would drop them off. They didn't mix the concrete for posts and installed during dry season so they didn't set, forgot to concrete in a post. (We had to dig all posts out and mix concrete to do it right). They don't return calls, don't answer texts and the young lady who answers the phone hangs up on you. Do not recommend this company at all. read more

My review is really 2 separate stories. I had a fence installed by USA fence approximately 2-3 years ago. I was pleased with the workmanship and the fence was installed as promised ,althought waiting for installation was a problem after the deposit was made. Well, along came the 2 hurricanes this past year. I live on Siesta key so I really don't have to explain how we were effected. Luckily I really had no damage to my home, but the 2 gates on my fence were both damaged. I called USA fence and asked for an appraisal for repairs. After waiting a long period of time for a return call, as I expected there would be, I received a call and Bernard was scheduled to come out and give me a price for the job. Bernard arrived on time and after a very cursory inspection told me the job would be $500. I gave him a check and waited for a call from the company. After waitng for what seemed like forever( months), I received a call and the repair was scheduled. When their crew arrived, the crew said that the 2 entire gait sections needed to be replaced and they did not have the materials with them. They said they could not do the job. I called USA fence the next day and told them what had happened. I never heard from them again. After waiting, I finally called their office and told them that I was cancelling the job and wanted my deposit returned .I also called Bernard and left a message for him on his cell phone. I never heard back. I would not recommend USA fence Bernard, or their office staff as people I would do business with again. It took a call to the CEO of the company to finally get my check back. Bernard was at my home on 2/18/25 . My check arrived 6/9/25. The company needs to work on their scheduling but they especially need work on dealing with their customers. I dont usually write negative reviews but when as a customer you are ignored and left for invisible hoping you forget the problem ever happened here is my experience , I contacted USA Fence first most because of the name of company not because I checked reviews , which by the way I should had but it is what it is , they first sent "one"guy that did not like to work with help so before he started I clearly asked to make sure both gates opened out so when I returned from work I noticed both gates opened in. next there was a 3 in gap near gate post so I called and complained so they sent a second guy to fix what first guy did. but still both gates opened in instead of out , soon after we had a wind storm not so strong but strong enough to knock down a few panels. this time I did not call but instead I re assembled my self but this happens when ever we get hit with mild strong wind so I had to add straps and hooks to keep fence from decorating neighbors yard. to make this long story a bit shorter , I waited just a bit before a year and reached out to USA Fence to see if they can have a guy come look at my fence because my fence looked like a dancing fence with waves of pvc panels waving like fence would come apart any time but the did send a third guy that looked at fence saw straps noticed fence opened in instead of out and he asks me when was my fence installed and when I told him about a year ago he looked at me and tells me oh I have to check with office to see if we can still fix this fence because too much time has gone by so I never heard back from this third guy or USA Fence . to finalize this experience and tired of waiting for a return visit from USA Fence to fix the issues after a few years I decided to go on you tube and see how to fix loose fence plus switch fence gate to open outwards like I wanted from beginning I now have both gates opening out which by the way only took me 45 minutes to do both with a help from a neighbor and they close shut ever better now with out having to pull gate upwards to lock and also pulled out 2 post purchased 2 new post at home depot and so far so good. for the money spent I feel I should had received the same quick service I received towards the beginning before full payment was done but if you are looking for a fence company and you want to make sure they covered all bases as you requested , and most important that they do their own work NOT hire random contractors, dont pay bill in full till everything is done or else you will be writing similar review. a old spanish saying , a fully paid musician never performs good ! Very nice employees but unfortunately they installed the whole fence about 4 inches above where the original fence was. The workers piled dirt up around the base but that will make the flooding in my yard worse. They said they could push the panels down further but then the posts will be much higher and look strange. Not sure I would use them again in the future. They also left a 6" gap between the new and old fence but they are going to try and remedy that. read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We were told 4-6 weeks for fence to be installed. They sat on our paperwork for 5 weeks before submitting for permit. That was because we saw on the county website that they never submitted it. We had to call several times about this. They told us it would be submitted the next day. We also had to call and tell them that the permit was ready to be picked up. We had to call to schedule. They didn't keep the original date and had to reschedule to the following week. Once installed there were many mistakes.it took a week to get those fixed. I would definitely not recommend this company. read more

As far as my experience with the managerial part of the company, I hate giving only 3 stars because they did accomplish, to my satisfaction, my fence installation but if only they would communicate in a timely manner they would own Florida. I went here because I was looking for wheels for my vinyl gate. I chose USA fence upon a recommendation from a local hardware store. The sales person was very friendly and helpful, even provided me with a cup of coffee. I told him I came here to keep local businesses going. I bought the wheels, which were each about $15.00 more than on line. It turned out the wheels didn't work for my gate. When I returned them today the same sales person was working. When I told them I wanted to return the wheels, he informed me that he may have forgotten to tell me there is a 20% restocking fee. that information is not found on any signs nor on the receipt. He said if I came back tomorrow maybe the owner would waive it, but he, the sales person in charge of the store, did not have authority to do that. like I said, the sales person was very helpful but be careful you don't buy something unless you are sure it will work. It makes me second think the "Buy local" idea when I can by on line with free shipping to my door, free returns and I get all my money back. The sales person would get five stars if he had told me about the return policy, the business zero stars!! read more

These guys put in a fence for my 83 year old mother who has copd. The contract calls for a 6 x 4 pole in concrete with aluminum supports for the gate post. and aluminum frame for the wooden gate. What she got was a 4 x 4 post with no aluminum, a gate with no aluminum and no concrete in the post. 10 days after they left, the post sank 6 inches. can't open gate. My mother called and they won't return her call. She emailed and even wrote a letter. These guys take advantage of the elderly. My mother has no money and had to take a loan out for the fence. However the State of Florida has stepped in and is providing her an attorney. This can't happen to the elderly, please please reconsider if you are looking at these guys to do work. Their warranty means nothing. and they avoid all calls and correspondence after install. Stay tuned, maybe you will see them on 8 on your side. read more

Installation and fence is quality but they sub out their service which is good because if their installers are like their sales and schedulers the fences would probably fall apart. I had a big problem with USA Fence losing my order, not ordering the fence, the sales rep telling me I needed to pay the deposit 3 weeks after I drove over and delivered the check personally and multiple times USA Fence lying to me about installation schedules and reasons for the delays. Numerous messages were left requesting that the salesman return our call to discuss his measurement. He never responded. Several in-person visits were made to the company. The office manager was impatient and stated the owner, who must first review our case, was very busy and will review the matter when he can. I am really disgusted with USA fence. I have been waiting since NOv to get my fence repaired and finally got an estimate, put half down and they cashed that check but suppose to have installation scheduled for today in afternoon and by 5 pm no call or show. I am so frustrated waiting around and no one seems to care. I just want my fence fixed. I hate complaining but this is simply unaccepatable to wait around and have your time taken and they have no concern about your schedule. I would sooner pay a higher price than recommend USA Fence. The post next to the home is crocked and allows all animals access to the home. They left several pieces of the fencing over a foot long in the yard along with multiple pieces of small wire all along the fening which required me to go on the outside & inside of the fincing. They moved a large rock away from the house for the fencing & were asked to put it back in place as it helps dispel the water run off from the roof. They ignored my husband's request. When we called the salesman about the rock needing to be moved we were ignored. Neither my husband or I are young and I had to move concrete block to thearea needed for the water run off from the roof. I had to fill in holes where the posts were put in. This has gone to the worst fence company that you can imagine I have given them about three jobs just in the last several years each time I have to work with him harder to get it out there to get it right . this the last time they did half the job , walked off never came back . After a couple conversations and them ignoring me and a couple months pass I went ahead and paid another contractor to finish it. Then USA started sending me bills for the complete job and a month after that, they came out stole the fence. Yes took my complete Advance my Gates that we installed on our own with paid receipts from another contractor even painted and everything my grandkids painted they came by 11 months after walking off the job and took the fence three Mexicans came in and took it, the neighbors saw this. I have e the police out there I have a report number and everything. stay away from him I recommend West Coast Fence Pinellas Park . After getting a quote, they completely lose track of you. I had to keep on top of them for them to install our fence, complete the job, install the gate. It was ridiculous. We would be told that they were going to be there one day and they wouldn't show up. When I'd call the office, the staff would be confused why the crew didn't show up that day and promise they would be there the next day. They didn't show up again. Terrible experience from start to finish. Would never recommend. After paying deposit, called every week to follow up on expected install date. Their default response was "should be this week - we'll call you." After 5 weeks and threats of canceling my order, I was finally told that the order was NEVER placed. Manager tried to smooth it over like he was doing me a favor by rushing the order at this point. Once the fence was finally put in they broke my irrigation line and refused to repair it! Salesperson promised a fence that would be at the ground to prevent my dogs from escaping , and failed to deliver. There is up to a 6 inch gap under the fence on half of the fence. I was presented with the option of "putting 10 to 12 bags of topsoil under the gaps" to build mountains of soil , and the opportunity to lower it to the ground with the top being uneven throughout. I specifically asked about this before signing the contract, and I know it can be done. If the fence is cut across the top after installed everything comes out even at top and the entire fence meets the ground at the bottom. Had I been told it would be an increased cost up front, I would have paid for it, but I was told it could all be handled for the price quoted. I gave ample opportunity for the issue to be remedied. I was told today there would be no further action on the part of USA Fence, and told to pay the remaining balance within 24 hours. Jim , the sales person, acknowledged today the fence is installed incorrectly, stating "the owners won't fix it". He has also repeatedly stated "i told the owner 6 times about the issue". I do not recommend this company, and will do all I can to keep others from using the company. read more
