I've had the pleasure of being cut by both barbers who work within this small hair cuttery and always came out with a clean, well blended skin fade that my friends actually compliment towards. This place deserves ZERO stars. First of all, when we got there, we were ignored by the first guy, then the second guy ignored us. Finally another guy welcomed us and said that this woman could help us. Well my husband told her what he wanted, same haircut he always gets. I'm not sure what she heard or what she wanted to do but she definitely didn't do what was asked of her. Not only that, she left him covered in razor burn. His neck is covered in cuts from her horrible job. My husband went back for a refund and the woman showed very little compassion. She didn't care that she cut him or anything. She didn't want to refund his money and one of the guys working decided to record the situation, I told my husband to go back inside and tell him since hes recording, go ahead and record the cuts on his neck. He got agitated and took his smock off like he was gonna go after my husband. I called after leaving and the woman refused to talk to me, I've called several times to speak to whoever is in charge and they just keep picking up and hanging up. I've been coming to this place for a good part of almost 10 years. I've seen different barbers come and go, as well as seen some of the veterans still working here. The prices are reasonable and the barbers do a great job. My only concern is the owner, Jose. He's very friendly and professional, but I feel like he could do a better job with the haircuts. I've gotten my hair cut by him and I feel like he rushes to finish. If he was to take a bit more time, I feel like he would do a great job. He does a good job, but I feel like it could be much better if he didn't rush. As for the other barbers, they always do a great job! read more

I waited patiently for an hour and a half with 10 people in front of me, and with 3 barbers working i watched 8 people come in after me, get their haircut, and leave while i waited. And 6 out of the 10 who were there before me got theirs. This is very unprofessional and I feel that it was also racist since i was the ONLY white person in there and they kept skipping me and wouldn't even look at me to see if i was ready. read more

I've been coming to USA Barber Shop for well over 8 years now, and I will not go anywhere else. When I first started going, I was doing a common "fade" haircut, which I kept for about 6 years, but with job promotions and the need for a more "professional" look, my style had to change. I went to an actual hairstylist (one time), to get a "new professional look" and took note of what was done to my hair. With that information, I went back to USA Barber Shop, explained what had been done, and BAM! Both Jose & Vilma knew what to do, and provided the same haircut, for a fraction of the cost! I highly recommend USA Barber Shop because not only do they have a staff trained in various cuts, but they are all family & as friendly as any people can get. This place is so filthy and dirty. As we walked in, none of the workers acknowledged us. There was only 2 workers at the time and one of them was a lady who wouldn't stop gossiping with the clients instead of working on the haircut. She would pause just so she could ramble on. There was two people ahead of us, and they were still working on the same people when we first walked in. We ended up waiting 45 mins and yet still no progress. Me and my boyfriend had to leave because it was ridiculous. I would avoid this place at all cost!! We ended up going to a better spot called blades who greeted us as soon as we walked in and we didn't have to wait at all. Not to mention clean and sanitary. read more

Possibly one of the worse experience ive had at a barber shop. My brother recommended this place and specifically told me to go to Jose, the owner, to cut my hair. So i did. When i get there, there was no line for him but there was two or three people waiting for other barbers. This should have told me something. I decided to go with my brothers recommendation and go with jose. Bad idea. This guy probably means well and i could see he was doing a good job in terms of actually showing me what he was doing before he actually did it. That is however after he attempted to line me up. Now i dont have the best hairline but as a professional barber and with my walkthrough of how high i wanted my hairline cut, he could have done a way better job. In the end my hair line looked like a kid in algebra who was asked to graph the line y=-x+1 MY GODDAM HAIRLINE LOOKS LIKE A SLOPE GOING DOWNWARDS. anyways once he messed up my hairline, he didnt even fade in the left side of my tapper. Basically, the dude gave up. He didnt do a razor shave and mumbled his way through it. Luckily hair does grow back but in terms of me actually going back to that barber shop I dont see it ever happening again. read more
