this post office really chopped. it smells like badussy and the service was bad and slow. the workers were mean.

This is a great post office! Very helpful and fast! I really like using this post office. We even kept a box here. Sorry to have to leave.

The person who "helped" me was careless with my things. Shoving them into a box and taping up the…read moreboxes before I could even say "wait!!" My things ended up smashed in boxes without the tags taken off them, letters send with them and the handling I needed for these gifts I was sending! I was upset by the crude nature of the person behind the counter. Also, they put my items in boxes that cost more then the 'all in one' boxes that cost cheaply. I hadn't realized this until I'd left that I'd paid an extra 10 dollars in shipping. Better customer service is in need, and care for my items. Won't venture here again unless I'm in desperate need.

Several incidences of the Waco USPS making claims that an attempted delivery took place and a notice left when in fact. the item had NOT YET REACHED the area and no notice was left. Most recently, I attempted to prevent USPS from loosing a substantial check addressed locally. USPS claim that an attempt was made to deliver the item during hours when most people are at work, school etc. USPS CLAIMED that a message was left and made no further attempts. The intended recipient has NOT ATTEMPTED to pick the item up at the Wooded Acres location and probably dismissed it as a piece of junk mail The USPS is the primary contact that most people have with the United States Government. Like other government agencies, the employees get paid whether they do their jobs or not.

I'm told that this Post Office doesn't deliver locally held mail anymore. Have to drive to Hwy 6…read moreP.O. to pick up??? I live a mile from Hewitt P.O. and I have to drive 7 miles to receive my held mail, absolutely ludicrous. Hewitt addressed mail go to Dallas, then back to Waco, then sent to Hewitt for delivery, that really doesn't make sense!!

The last time I went the postal guy was very nice and explained that he just put out the packages and gave me a general idea of when to arrive for them. He was very kind and even went and got them instead of sending me there. Very good employees at this one. Some post offices are so-so but I really enjoy coming to this location My first time talking to the employee in this post office. I was mailing a if it fits it ships package. First they did answer the phone. I went very early and was there about 10 minutes before opening but had to stay in the car instead of standing in the lobby since I can't stand a real long time yet. She answered the phone when I enquired about the operating hours. They opened promptly at 7:30. I don't usually ship these type packages. She was very helpful. I was grateful and thankful for her advice. Sometimes I think that the post office gets judged a bit harshly. In my experience some don't want to be helpful and others really do care about you. I would give five stars but I only have had a one time experience w an employee from here. The positive experience Does influence my desire to return though. Update: Had to mail a letter in a hurry and got some cheap envelopes but they had a hard time sealing closed. When I bought a stamp at the post office kudos for the lady saying yes to putting some tape on the envelope for me.

So, I just got a notice and I was home all day and no one knocked on my door until my neighbor came…read moreto my door and knocked and I found the notice. I called corporate and the 800# which should be renamed to call 1-877- call BOT! All phone numbers for help are transferred to the same program with the same bot, aka artificial intelligence and it is impossible to get a life human person to help and one would think. I remember that when UPS started they had live people to help us and now that they have prospered , yet the quality of service to its' customers, has plummeted to poor and very, I will add. ups.com/track will also not work w/o your tracking no. At this now for an hour and hope this helps someone and UPS pays attention to their latest reviews and not just on here. The bot could not help me after spending 1/2 on phone. Pressing 0 no longer works. This shipment w/notice number only could have been any one package from multiple companies that I have order from recently. We used to be able to put the notice number and it would give us the information. I called my Local franchise UPS store and was advised to call and choose shipping rates and then put the notice number to get a live person but also she looked it up for me and gave me my tracking no. Why put us through more hardships UPS after you have become so successful! Fix this and make it easy for us to speak to a live person; my heart goes out to the Elderly on this as well!! Any delivery services out there in competition, never make this mistake and LQQK I am sure customers will pay whatever just to get the help they need Live and not from a BOT or Robot; and be able to easily access a Human Being for Service!. I put the review here and changed the stars to 5 because my local office here is Excellent in servicing UPS Customers but will post this on main google site now. and wanted to share.
