This is a hit and miss post office, when it comes to their employees. (This is apparent with their voice, unwillingness to assist, and their constant frowning) The last two women were a nightmare! I had to report one in the post office website. Lets see who is serving today, as I am actually mailing something. Hopefully I get the petite lady, who is really cheerful and engages in small talk.

It's safer to drop off mail here because theives have been stealing from residential mail boxes... and taking deliveries from people's porches! I'm glad that I already had postage stamps on me. Because it was a Sunday, the Post Office was closed, but the self-service kiosk was open. Customers were waiting in line to use it! Forms for holding mail and other services were available... as well as free flat rate boxes. There were so many boxes for secure mail delivery, too. Thanks for being reliable, US Postal Service!

The Monument post office has been holding my package hostage since Nov. 11. A package that was sent…read moreon Nov. 6, (it is now Nov. 22) and at one point made it to Colorado Springs and close to a delivery. But then it went on a whirlwind road trip and left Colorado. It came back, landed in Monument, and there it freaking sits. I call and the phone rings forever and then it hangs up on me. WHY DO YOU PUBLISH A PHONE NUMBER ON A PHONE YOU NEVER ANSWER? I opened a case several days ago. My local PO is handling it, and has told me they've sent several emails to the Monument post office, but are not getting a response. Apparently there is no way to for one post office to contact another post office other than emailing, which seems insane to me. Maybe they are nice as others have indicated, but they sure are not responsive to someone who is trying to find out what the problem is with getting my package delivered. Glad I don't live in Monument and have to use that post office. At least my post office answers their phone.

It's not a reflection of the nice lady working, but the manager should make sure things are being taken care of in the front of the house. I live in Meridian Ranch and the only reason we found out is because we went to check our mailbox after having COVID and being stuck in the house for a week, and there was nothing there. So my husband called, and the dude that answered and the moment my husband gave him our address was like..."oh yeah, those mailboxes were broken into." Um...ok...so now what do we do? He said well, you can call the sheriffs, and uh, do a report but they can't really do anything. So...I called the postal inspector who said that he would look into it, he was more concerned over the fact that the post office knew that mail was being stolen and did not notify residents or anything like that. He said they should have informed us. So after that, I had to put my mail on hold. It's been a month. My birth control was delivered on Saturday, guess by who, the USPS postal service. And it said they delivered it to our mail locker...um...what?!? Instructions are hard to follow I know....my husband just grabbed the mail yesterday and he didn't get it so I called them to see if maybe he forgot something...the woman on the phone was so freaking rude. I explained to her that someone was taking our mail and they were breaking into our mailbox, and she proceeds to cut me off and correct me and say that...whoa, they just tampered with the mailboxes to make it easy to open, no one "broke" into them...geez sorry lady. Not like it makes a difference. She went to check if it was with them. They didn't have it. She asked for the tracking number, in a tone that made me feel like I was an idiot. I know how to track my package. So I gave it to her, and she said well, yeah he should have just left it here at the post office since there is a hold on your mail...so I was like um ok...and she was like well, I'll take your number and I'll ask him what he did with it. The first package they took was my Victoria's Secret panties...and now my birth control. I have like zero faith in USPS and those who work at this post office. I felt like I was on a episode on Roseanne being talked to like I'm an idiot.

Natalie from the Elizabeth Post Office called me back and stated that she had got my complaint. Then proceeded to tell me, "to clarify, I don't work for you, we don't operate from tax dollars", she called me a jerk and stated that I was entitled because I didn't understand how busy they are the day after a holiday. I told her that every business (who wants to remain in business) should answer the phone when customers call. She hung up on me. Wow! send an email, don't buy stamps, go paperless, whatever you can do to NOT use the Post Office. This is why their reviews are so bad - people like they have at the Elizabeth Post Office. My apartments are often inaccessible due to others locking our entry door during the day, and I sometimes worry about things getting stolen. This takes care of both of those issues. Perfect. Imagine my surprise to have the cherry on top of cheery, lovely service every.single.time. I come in (which is fairly frequently). The business appears to be family owned, and they've got a litany of other services I wouldn't hesitate to ask for, if needed. Whenever I have a package to pickup, it's always quick, efficient, and with a smile- what more could you ask for? I'll be sad to move in a few short months, but I've appreciated these folks alot in the time I've been able to use them. Fair pricing, wonderful people. Thank you!

Paid for something that was…read moresupposed to be delivered on sat ( two day delivery, mailed out on Thursday) when i specifically indicated it needs to be delivered 2 days... we checked and cheapest was FedEx. We did have weather delay which i understand we can't do nothing about mother nature but package kept getting delayed. Still not delivered on Tuesday even though package was at the destination. The person at the other end had to go to the local center and they explained it was not sent as 2 day delivery. Called the mail center and they are explained it indicates it is a 2 day delivery but when they get delivered is fed ex issue, not theirs and i did not pay for 2 day delivery. That was never explained...I thought I was getting a good deal but apparently I was swindled... won't be using them.... should be honest with people.
