My husband and I have been using this post office for over 6 years and have always had pleasant experiences with all of the staff. We used to have a PO Box, but we now only go in to ship a package which is a great opportunity to see how PO Josh has been doing. He's the cool guy who works in the office. We want to give a huge thank you to Aiyana who's also an office employee here. She went out of her way and drove to our apartment to unlock the neighbor's box to retrieve our package. That was very sweet. Turned out that our package (which we accidentally had shipped to the wrong apt) got put in our own mailbox anyway, so shout out to the mailman for being on top of it! Tonasket postal service is a joke. While living in tonasket, it woukd take days to get mail at my apartment. And often mail was delivered to wrong apartment. When my family moved, we paid for change of address several times because apparently it didn't go through. Mail was still being sent to old address. My son was taken off his SSI because tonasket postal service didn't forward his mail like they were supposed to. Now im am fighting his SSi to get his Income reinstalled before he looses his apartment. Thank Tonasket postal service for your crappy service and messing up people's important mail delivery. Why! can't I get my boxes delivered to my home, I was told the box was to heavy, I thought that the postal service could deliver anything not what they wanted, and this is what is going on with my boxes, the mail lady drives a tiny car, and won't bring any big boxes, I thought this was their job, I don't make them come to my work and do my job so why can't they do theirs, for god sake get a bigger vehicle and get someone who can get the mail out to us, I can understand if there is something I need to sign for and im not home, they take one look at the box and decide their not bringing it and make us do their job, time to get a whole new crew! get people who are able to get the job done and not complain about the weight of the mail, DO YOUR JOBS!!!! read more

They changed me$40 t for a at rate $21 box. To a deployed soldier no less. Very disappointed.

They simply don't deliver. They mix up peoples mail all the time. They do not properly fill out cards left for picking up at the post office. I try to avoid receiving any packages from them. UPS or FED EX if at all possible. read more

This post office had a ton of parking the inside was very clean and I had absolutely no wait I'm glad I stopped at this post office before headed to Canada to mail my package. Very friendly staff read more

I left home for what I thought was only going to be a few days before coming back. When I came back I was going to put a Hold on my mail for an undetermined amount of time as I'll be travelling. Well, due to weather conditions, I'm not going back home. So I tried to put the Hold on my mail by phone but the only number given is the main number for the whole postal system. Through the long menu of choices, I tried to put the Hold on via their phone system. It was extremely long and drawn out with their voice confirmation of everything taking excruciatingly long with the voice saying "Break time equals 250 milliseconds" between each LETTER of reading back the information I gave!!! Really?!? Holy crap! I finally made it through to the point they wanted an end date, which I do not have. I tried to put it out several months and it didn't recognize anything I chose past the end of the year. The system finally couldn't figure out what I wanted and it ended the call!!! I have no idea if my Hold is on or not. Then I made the mistake of agreeing to their phone survey. THAT took forever, too! I finally hung up in disgust. I'm over it. read more

Come on, guys, you have one job. I've lived in my current house for about a year and they've never been able to find it once. Everytime I ask them why, they ask if I have a mailbox on the street, which I do, or if I've filled out the rural residence form, which I have. This most recent experience, though, is why I'm writing a review that I doubt they'll ever see. I ordered something online that I wasn't comfortable having delivered to my sister's house in Tonasket (which I'd taken to doing because these guys can't find me) so I set the address as my house. See, I figured I could keep an eye on the tracking and when they fail again, I could just pick it up from the post office. Well, today, the instant the tracker said undeliverable I drove the ten minutes to the post office. After waiting for someone to actually come to the counter, I said I had a package that was marked undeliverable and I wanted to pick it up. I was told it was already sent back. He didn't ask my name or tracking number, didn't volunteer to check in the back. I asked if there was any chance it hadn't left yet because I just got the notification and he said no, it's already gone. Again no attempt to double check.
