He got there and decided the mower was not for us so he asked to see another mower he saw in the ad a 2011 John Deere X540 and decided thats the one he wanted and was actually overjoyed to own it, So he went to sign the papers and when he walked in the office the walls were covered in what he called a "sign" god and jesus all over the office. He felt completely confident in this purchase at this point. we bought the mower for 2,768.63 as the salesman told him he was getting ( A hellava deal on this mower) even though he disagreed with the owner taking our mower as a trade in and tried to get my husband to just not include the old mower was also told if the mower (our trade in was not as explained the deal was off). It was delivered the next day on Friday and we were overjoyed to be able to mow our now very overgrown 3.5 of 6.2 acres of lawn. We mowed that day and were very happy with the mower. The next day after my husband got home from work he went to finish mowing and the mower wouldn't start so we called T.H.E. Company they said they would come pick it up but we were responsible for payment of work done and transporting the mower, after hearing nothing on the mower i called the next Wednesday and was told nobody had looked at it due to people being out due to sickness and calling in and it would be looked at that day. The next morning my husband got a call saying once he settled the bill they would return the mower so he texted me and i called the company and asked what was done to the mower and how much was the bill i was told they replaced the spark plug, pulse pump and also the shut off cylinoid and i paid the 215$ and was told the issue was resolved i was also told the mower would be returned the next morning first thing so i stayed home waiting and it never showed up they called late in the afternoon 4-4:30 pm and said it was late and it might be tomorrow because of people calling in absent as my husband was on the other line they disconnected from me to talk to him. the next day i got a call saying the mower was on the way first thing because my husband was complaining and they thought it was important to him( he was complaining because i sat home all day the previous day waiting on the mower and they didn't keep their word. So now being Friday again with heat index of 106 degrees i started mowing the mower ran for 25-30 minutes and left me stranded about as far away from my house as possible when i got back my husband was furious and called the company which he was told nobody was around they had all been sent home from the heat so my husband demanded to talk to the salesperson whom was at old thrashers and was told again it was a hellava mower and what a hellava deal he got on this mower they would resolve this. They came to pick up the mower AGAIN and said it was the pulse pump which i replied the brand new one they just replaced last week which i had the bill for stating so i was given the it must have been faulty speech and told this would fix the problem the man that picked up the mower the night before was a mechanic he trusted and was very good and was reassured that if this didn't work they would honor a money back and our old mower back( the one he disagreed with his boss over)so we got our mower back yesterday for the third time September 11th 2026 we mowed for 2 hours and 7 minutes and it died again and won't start ( same issue 3rd time) when my husband texted the sales person and said i'm done i want my money back and my old mower he was told that it's strange it works here but breaks down at your house which we took as an accusation that we did something to the mower my husbands reply was ok fix the mower and come mow my lawn and you will see. ( I had previously told the salesperson it takes about 5 hours to mow our lawn) and they tried it out at the company for 20-30 minutes we were told. None of the people at the company knew what the other was doing, we were told after we paid the bill for repairs we weren't supposed to be charged and the last time the mower was dropped off the salesperson said who said it was ready? Hopefully nobody else has these issues with T.H.E. Company totally frustrating. My husband is a hard working man and all he wanted was a working mower.

I grew up with the idea that a person word is sacred and you stick by it even if you make a mistake. Not so with this company. I went to the other end of town and rented from Quality Rental.
