Mary is rude and snarky. She acts like everything is a chore and seems to go out of her way to be rude. Just buying one stamp is an outrage to her. I asked to purchase one stamp and she acted like I was putting her out. This is her JOB so DO IT MARY!! Another instance: I received a notice that I had a package to pick up, however, I couldn't go in during the hours that she was open. I called and asked her to please put it in a pick-up box. She gave a long sign, and sarcastically answered "Yeah, I guess so." Then she hung up. From now on, I'll be giving my business to the Gunnison or Manti post office just so I can avoid dealing with snarky Mary.

What an awesome Post Office…read more It was all brass railings and old style, PO Boxes with the windows. I wandered through slowly admiring everything I could while trying not to look like a strange, grinning lunatic. I loved it. And about 5 seconds after I walked out the door I remembered I was still holding the letter that I went in there to send.

And a nice bathroom nearby. I took a postcard over here and figured mailing it from Emery Utah would be cool and random for my friends at work. It was also the only address I have memorized, so my friends and family were probably pretty hurt I didn't think of them, but that's what e-mail is for. Anyway they were friendly here and mailed it off for about .30 cents. Let's hope post offices don't all close. This one had people coming and going as I was there.
